Trespassers Will Be Shot Part 2

Recommended Posts

Wifey introduced this one to some snake shot in the driveway. It's got a green tint to it, don't know if it's a Mojave or not.

The diamondback pattern tends to fade as it nears the tail and the white stripes are wider than the black on the tail (the little we can see).  These are identifying traits of a Mojave I believe.  My assessment is not scientific, but more of old rancher lore.  I would love to hear from someone who actually knows if it is a mojave?  Iaborn?

narrow black tail stripes make it a mojave.  the green comes from chameleonic effect of living in a green environment(lettuce field, golf course, drainage ditch)
