Bird dog found

Recommended Posts

Looking for owner.

Found near Boyd Ranch off Scenic Loop, NE of Wickenburg.

Scared little pup I believe is a German Shorthair Pointer, about 14-16 weeks old. Was pretty standoffish but a turkey sandwich brought him around pretty quick.

Website not allowing pics to upload.

What's the story with the leash?

He had no collar or leash. We were working with loud equipment and didn't want him to runoff.

This is a very remote area west of Stanton. Thinking maybe he was brought out days ago to get familiar with quail. Beautiful dog and after some chow and water he settled right in.

Nice find! Hope his (new) owner gets ahold of you, Tim.

Curious that he didn't have a collar on him.

To me looks like it has some cow dog in it. Might be a ranchers around the area.

No. Talked to the only rancher in the area and he's never seen it before

Good. I was hoping it was that and not someone left it tied to the tree with that leash.
