rock for trail camera security

Recommended Posts

Yes, the appplications are limited.  I have a tank with no trees around it.  I’ll put it just below the top of the ridge pointing across the water.  Side hill on a trail I drop trace minerals on.  I’m trying to avoid losing more cameras hanging on trees.

I'd make sure no rain water collects around cam or mud swallowing it up.  Water height on the banks of a tank can change dramatically with one rain.

I have thought about doing similar.   I hope it works.

Funny, my biggest concern is critters using it as a den.

You would have to leave your mom's basement in order to get out in the woods.

Good idea, but a lot of tanks don’t have rocks on them. If that’s the only “rock” on the tank, it will draw your attention.  Good luck. Let us know how they work
