I agree, for a 25CM, I would go 1:7" too.

I went 1:7.5" for my 26" 25SST since I am pushing them @ 3170 to 3280 depending on which load I ultimately decide on.

Blackjack states 1:8" for 3300fps+.

I was going to do the SST but the donor action i bought was not correct. That sounds like a great round! Appreciate all the info

Dang that rifle looks great! Wish i could do a proof but they do not make one in the size i want. Thank you for the load info! How far was your furthest kill shot if you dont mind me asking? Pm me if you would rather not say on here. What scope are you running?

Furthest kill shot was my goat at right about 500, everything else was 3-450 yds. Scope is a leupold vx3i LRP, went with it over nightforce for the weight savings. Gun was built with my wife in mind so went as light as possible on everything, she is very petite so she struggles shooting my 300 Rum unless she is prone or on a tripod

Well most of the parts are in, I went with a 20” bartlin barrel that is getting carbon wrapped. Just waiting for that to get done and then the build will start.

Be careful with a 40 MOA base.  Sometimes those 1" scopes do not have enough adjustment to get a zero at a reasonable range.  Do not forget to put in the 10$ spring in the Tikka trigger.  Makes them a pretty nice inexpensive trigger.

Can you shed some light on the $10 Tikka spring trigger?  Have not heard of this?
