1987 Suzuki Samurai Tin Top

Recommended Posts

1987 Suzuki Samurai $6,500 drop to $5,900

Rebuilt title from a crash in 1990’s, I have the carfax, you can see the front drivers fender has some body work and the radiator support was bent back. 5th picture shows the bent radiator support

Very good condition over all for the year

Many upgrades:

Spring over lift

Jeep springs

31” mud tires

New motor from Zuks off road

Harley Carb installed by Zuks

Locked rear diff

Hi steer

Roof rack cross bars

Matching spare tire and wheel

Very nice interior

A/C works, could use a recharge

Heater works

Nice seats

Rear seat

Has decent carpet

If you don’t mind a little faded paint this thing is ready to hit the trails today with no mechanic work needed. Happy to answer any questions

If I was going to keep it the 3 things I would do are, stiffer throttle spring, change the driver window regulator, it’s a little stiff, while changing the window regulator I would upgrade the door panels as they are showing some age.

No low ballers, I am in no hurry to sell, I looked over a lot of Samurais before I bought this one, it’s the nicest one I could find with the highest quality upgrades, not some disaster garage project.  The only reason I am selling is my family is a little too big for this setup. I’ll post more pics Sunday.

I think they are a great value compared to a side by side, they ride rougher and go slower but the heat and AC are nice features.

I’m really liking my 97 4Runner that I’m running now.  Runs like top, fits on a 14’ trailer, goes just about everywhere I’m comfortable taking it.  I couldn’t buy a 2000 Yamaha rhino for what I have invested in this 4Runner.

Gonna miss that little Samurai, it was a cool little rig.
