So who’s air frying?

Recommended Posts

That was my question - we're going to get one and I know very little about them. it looks like the countertop convection oven style has a lot of benefits over the internal basket style. Any experience of the pros and cons of both designs is much appreciated!

We got the Ninja and like I said we are still figuring it out.  I like the one above for the accessories and that rack that can be adjusted.

That looks like it would be a pain in the neck to keep clean and @ 1600 Watts ( 14.5 amps @ 110VAC) it would need to be the only thing being used on the circuit.

Yes Kev they are. Typically two per circuit around the counter but if you are using this and go to use a Microwave or Blender at the same time it will trip the circuit. Usually anymore all outlets are on a 20 amp circuit and lights are on a 15 amp.

No different than a Microwave, toaster oven, hair dryer.  1600W is actually 13.3 amps because 110v hasn't been used in quite some time.  Utilities are now required to give you 120v +/- 5% or 114v to 126v with the majority getting 120ish.
