Pig Down

Recommended Posts

Well today Thomas took me for the worst hike of my life, but luckily it was all worth it.  Thomas made a great 225 yard shot on a bedded Javelina.  Very proud of him,  he definitely earned this one.  Big thanks to Uncle Adam (BigBrowns) for helping out too.

Freaking awesome. I need to study up for my 23 pig hunt. I have never been able to tag out for some reason. This kid nailed it!

I didn’t have any luck there with my daughter this weekend.

That looks Amazing!  What is the recipe???

+1  I don't think I have ever been able to get it to be that tender, even with hours upon hours of low and slow braising.

Seasoned with granulated garlic and Montreal steak seasoning.  About two cups of green chilies.  Wrap everything in aluminum foil and bake in the oven for about 12 hours at 200 degrees.  Turned temp up to 300 for two hours more so a total of 14 hours of baking and it's ready.
