Multiple rifles for sale

I have 9 rifles for sale, my buddy’s dad is going into a nursing home so I am helping to sell his collection. I live in the east valley, work in downtown PHX. Can meet at the Mesa Sportsmans Warehouse after work  or we can find a location close to downtown. I will be off on Monday 2/17 and can meet any time that day at Sportsmans.

1) Remington 700 BDL in 30-06, manufacture date is in 1980 I believe. 2) Next is a Weatherby Mark 5 in 300 Weatherby mag with a Leupold VX-L 4.5-14x 50. There are some surface scratches on the stock. $900

3) Next is a Ruger M77 heavy barrel tang safety in 26-06 in almost mint condition, few minor surface scratches on stock $700

4) Next is a Winchester model 670 in .243. It looks like a truck gun and is priced as such. Bore looks clean. $350

5) Next is a Winchester model 70 in 240 Gibbs. I had to look this one up, it’s basically a 6mm-06. Dies are available for reloading this round. Does have some scratches. $500

6) Next is another Gibbs round, a 35 Gibbs (35-06) built on a Mauser action. Stock and blueing are in good shape, there is some wiggle on the bolt when fully opened.

7) Next is a Winchester model 1907 in 32. No magazine right now, still looking for it.  $800

9) And last but definitely not least. A Winchester model 70 Super Grade in 300 Win Mag. An absolutely beautiful rifle in mint condition, still wrapped in its plastic bag and in its box from the factory. $1300

Sorry I don’t have any info as far as that goes, the bore looks good but I don’t have a scope to look at it.

This post is an object lesson in good guns ruined through neglect.  Most members on here probably don't know what a Model 61 is, or could care less, but that is a pre-war or early post war (I am pretty sure pre-war), in a classic caliber.  It was the finest pump-action rimfire ever made in this country, or anywhere  It should be worth 4-5x the asking price, but as it sits, is only useful for parts.  A shame.

Because of the pitting on the end of the barrel or did you examine the gun and find more issues?  Pitting is unfortunate but stuff happens, especially over 80 years.  I have some guns with will no doubt be collectors items someday but I hunt them hard because that’s what they were made for.   Natural disasters happen too, floods, leaky pipes etc.
