North Kaibab On Fire

Around 20,000 acres now and bearing down on Jacob Lake. Awful! Glad I decided to get points only again this year. Next year should be epic.

As soon as the rains hit the deer will be back in it. I would love to have a tag there this year. Still terrible news though.

Came thru the 87 yesterday right before it was closed... The last picture shows a burned up car which is where I think the fire started.

Still going good, Payson is full of smoke..

The wind here in Mesa is blowing WSW, 7-10mph, 6% RH.

Blowing 10-15 with 28mph gusts, visibility is 1 mile or less.. Sucks

Can you see a plume from down there yet ?

At least it's not super hot. Just 104dgF at my place but the humidity is at 5%. Hats off to the Hot Shots.
