The parade was actually pounding rain. I looked outside to see water running down the street so hard that I wasn't sure if I should grab a rain coat or a fishing rod. I went with my Grunden jacket and out I went. I can't remember it raining like this in a VERY long time. Roads were flooded out on the way to the store.
