That bonito shark video was pretty wild!!

Curious.....    Are they edible??   Or was it more about 'population control' (eg;  payback for molesting their target fish...??

Cool video!

Cool video!

best grilled fish steak in the milky way.  not good for sashimi however but its notthing you see on menus.   on sportboats the crew always take half for doing  the 'dangerous work.'  highly prizedfish on bucket lists------trphy got one last year.

Nice!!!   Sort of looked that way when he was cutting the head.  Got a look at the flesh inside....  ;)

One of the more tasty sharks, especially when they are that young.

Here is a Baja report: fished  today out of SJDC marina north to Vinorama, trolled and hooked two decent Wahoo fairly early, sat on bait for tuna and it was dead, trolled back and had one dorado takedown that didn’t stick. As of now no fish in Bisbee’s, yesterday two marlin came in at 200ish that don’t qualify. Stoked for these fish, fishing is spotty down here right now.

I’d love to have me some wahoo right now.

no qualifiers still caught in the bisbees,  but I see someone is hooked up right now late in the day for the last 15 minutes. Maybe it’s a qualifier

edit: they boated it. The team is not in across the board though. Fishing out of a 37 skipjack.

Striped Marlin on a 1/2 Day trip?! 2020 has certainly been a wild ride. Why not top it off with a local marlin on the New Seaforth.
This fish was hooked and landed aboard the PM 1/2 day trip yesterday. Captain Julio was fishing schools of Bonito off the coast of La Jolla When they happened into this beautiful fish.
