Vortex's Lifetime Transferable Warranty Is The Real Deal...

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

Just wanted to give Vortex a shout out and BIG thank you.

I bought a pair of Kaibab 15x56 binos from a forum member about 18 months ago.

They served me well until a few weeks ago when the focus knob stopped working.

I sent them in as instructed on the Vortex web site and after 3+ weeks still had not got them back and I'm leaving Friday for a scouting trip.

I sent their CS an email late Thursday night simply asking for an update on when they might be returned given my upcoming trip.

Well, today via UPS Next Day Air, I received a brand new pair of Kaibab 18x56 binos.  I mean brand spanking new.  Pretty durn awesome.

A HUGE thanks to Vortex and Kathy K. for my excellent customer service.

Can’t fault vortex for their warranty that’s for sure. You’ll like the 15’s better than the 18’s

I know a lot of guys on here don't like vortex.  Maybe bad luck? I have quite a few binos, range finders, and scopes that have taken a beating and I have never had any issues.

My experience was nearly the same. My hunt was coming up, I called them and they got my binos "worked on next" and they shipped overnight them to me. I had them in my hands in just over 24hrs but more importantly two hours before leaving for the hunt. No charge.

My kaibab 15s lost the gas seal in one tube and the color was off. When I got them back they fixed that problem, completely cleaned them and replaced all the glass and a few other things. They also did all that on a time crunch and got them back to me before a hunt I had coming up. I am very impressed with vortex and will keep buying their products.

Never understood why so many dislike them. They are good optics with a great warranty. No they may not be the Leica. Swarovski, etc but they aren't priced like them either so I wouldn't expect the same. For the money they really are pretty good.

Exactly 100% of the Vortex stuff I've ever owned failed in the field.

Exactly 0% of the Zeiss, Swaro, Leica stuff I've owned has failed.

I've never had my vortex fail me in the field. Has it broke, yes. But half the time they send me a brand new product. If I paid the same price I would for swaros etc, then yes I would be upset. But i don't, so I love em.

Quality clarity floruitey.. vortex checks all those boxes.

Buy with confidence. Vortec is gtg

Put some swaros and vortex binos side by side on a tripod and looked at a mountain side.  Never looked through a pair of vortex binos again.

They weren't on the same level.  Not even close.
