Had a good morning at Rosey... caught 30 before noon today.  16 were on a large white Spook during first 2 hours, then I switched to a Zman TrickShotz rigged like a drop shot.... fish were still biting at noon, but the heat was too much!

You ever try a size 1 dropshot/splitshot hook and nose hook that bait? Then you don’t have to mess with it sliding down the shank of the hook. It’s just my preference

I've been using the Rebar hooks by Robo Worm... they have the barb at the top to hold the worm up

At rosey, with the trees, I prefer a rebarb then you can fish it weedless.   nose hook everywhere else though.  looks like a fun day.  thanks for the report.

I did not go out this week but my buddy 's did and put the wacky down on the crappie,  at night.  They are moving out if the river now so we got about 2 weeks for the slayen. Then it's up to the young guys to figure it out.  I ll be going on Thursday and Friday night. See Rosey in October.  Cheers.

On the water at 6am and off by 11am today. 25 total and biggest was about 3lbs. All Texas rigged baits in 3 to 15 feet of water.
