Redman, are you really a communist/socialist POS? You must not have any respect for our fore fathers and the blood they gave to make this nation what it was. Trump has had the best economy ever has created more jobs and brought jobs back to this country than any other President! And more jobs for the blacks and Hispanics than even that last administration did and He was supposedly "The 1st black President" did.

HAHA - criticizing the failure of Trump's action (and lack of action) and his crying about the elections make me a communist / socialist POS? LMFAO!  Obviously if you can make the jump from that to saying I "must not have any respect for our fore fathers"  tells me a lot about you.

Ozp is probably right. I think there was a very large number of them that were there hoping trump would say we’re taking this bitch right now though.

What’s up with the videos of the cops waving people in and opening the gates? This was a all a setup to make trump look bad like everything else since 2015.

Welcome to the new USA.   No giving your opinion..unless it fits the left narrative.  No defining gender.  No guns, unless they’re in the hands of people in power.  Higher taxes for the few who are still willing to work, until they realize that money doesn’t come from working, it comes from the government.  Open up those borders..all those people are votes.  The swamp is now here to stay.   One thing has not changed and never will.  God is in control, and one day soon , every mouth will be stopped, and every knee will bow.

Addendum..I’m glad I’m old.  I grew up in a great America.  I feel horrible for my kids and grandkids, and all those represented by their generations.

Idk, if on the 6th trump said it’s on come down here we need help instead of telling them to disperse, it could have been something much much bigger.

Trumps Twitter has been permanently banned.

I think that would’ve been the worst thing he could’ve possibly done.  As it is, I think this little act of insurrection is going to cost us dearly, as we’re already seeing with censorship.  I think the republicans are going to lose more ground in the midterms, and the only way that they have a chance in 2024 is if the Biden administration makes such a mess out of the economy that large swathes of people suffer from it.

any chance trump or pence had of a run in 2024 is gone.  Sure their base would still support them, but every election is decided by the 20ish% of swing voters, and I don’t think they’ll get that.

Speaking of the 20% swing voters; they are just as concerned about censorship and election integrity as conservatives are. And like conservatives, they can see through the crap being spewed out by the media.

I don't think he did anything to himself.  I think it was a very crappy expectation for people to want him to essentially throw out votes.  I’m certainly no constitutional scholar, but I’ve seen a couple of lawyers (One being Ben Shapiro) stating that he had no authority to do what was expected of him, and to me that seems logically correct.  Can you imagine a larger conflict of interests than to allow the incumbent VP to toss out votes in a re-election?  Or for that matter, what if Biden has tossed electoral votes for Trump in 2016 citing concerns of Russian meddling?
No, I don’t believe for a minute that was ever a legal option for Pence, and I don’t find it appropriate or reasonable to label him a traitor as some have.  He’s been a stalwart defender of the administration and President Trumps policy since day one and he’s often been a much better spokesperson for the administration than POTUS himself.

You're a smart and articulate man but I don't think He needed to toss out votes to send the electorals beck to the states that had sent congress dual slates.

And let's not forget how politicians like Ducey who rushed to certify the vote count. How do you possibly believe as our Sec of State asserted, there was not a single illegal vote cast in the state of AZ?

There was some stuff about pence and China the last couple weeks is mostly what I was referring too. But I think as the president of the senate he did have authority, but I didn’t even look into it I never thought that was going to happen even if he could I didn’t think he would. The Republican Party is dead, anyone associated with it won’t have much of a chance. Maga is the party now

To me it’s pretty obvious that there is fraud in literally every election.  Based on an absolute slew of evidence I think this may have been the worst ever.  I’m sorely, sorely disappointed in courts refusing to even hear cases on ‘procedural basis’.... I mean WTF?!?! Are these judges living in a bubble where they have no clue about the gravity of it all?  At least hear the argument....

I feel completely disenfranchised, and feel we’ve all been duped.  Anybody that claims that, I’m right there with ya.  I just haven’t seen/heard anything that makes me think the Pence thing was more than a fantasy born of desperation.  I understand wanting to blame somebody, but I don’t think Pence is the guy to shoulder that.
