Recommended Posts

I have not heard of that one but there was another floating around about banning assault rifles and putting a yearly fee on magazines over 10 rounds and a yearly tax on each firearm.

I sure am glad that I sold all my ammo and firearms last year after that terrible boating accident that took most of everything I had. ;)

It was introduced last year, but just might be passed with full dem control now in place.

H.R. Bill 5717:

Summary (these are some of the lowlights):

* generally requires individuals to obtain a license to purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition;
* raises the minimum age—from 18 years to 21 years—to purchase firearms and ammunition;
* establishes new background check requirements for firearm transfers between private parties;
* 30% tax on firearms
* 50% tax on ammo
