Thought that was common practice. I just cleaned out my desk and threw out past yrs receipts. Its a govt entity, trust no one!

I work for the govt...get it in writing and make copies. That’s Govt 101.

A generalized statement from azgfd would be nice, as we have been accustomed to card hits the day after the update period. Especially if folks are going to need another chance to update their card if it takes a couple more weeks.

They gunna flip the CC switch at 4:59 and run for the door so they won’t have to deal with TAG-LESS Brad until Monday.

This was posted on their website over 2 weeks ago....

IMPORTANT: AZGFD continues to validate more than 150,000 applications. As a reminder, a customer’s receipt is verification that their application was received by the department. There is no need to contact the department if a customer cannot view data (such as submitted applications, bonus points, license purchases) in their personal portal account at this time.

AZGFD expects to resolve this inconvenience once the draw has been completed and hunt permit-tags are issued. In the meantime, the department appreciates the continued support and patience of its valued customers.

I just called again to verify this.  The gal laughed at all of us on CW.  She said they received almost 250k applicants, and were struggling with the unprecedented  volume.  When I read her the bolded part above, she said it was something they put out to ease our nerves.

I'll call her again before COB to check the status...
