  6. So just yesterday I bought these boots "Cabelas/Meindl Air Revolution" and just from wearing them around the house and with the various socks that i own am extremely impressed. Last January I posted a topic asking what people thought were the best boots to use for coues and elk hunting. After several hours of research i concluded that these boots were the best for my current hunting situations. I am curious to see what all you guys think about this boot if you have bought it or glanced at it. Thanks for any input!! http://www.cabelas.com/mens-uninsulated-hunting-boots-cabelas-air-revolution-hunting-boots-1.shtml?WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=03428338&rid=40&mr:trackingCode=741748B1-79BD-E111-8DC4-001B21631C34&mr:referralID=NA&mr:filter=19162816704&mr:match={matchtype}&mr:adType=pla&mr:keyword={keyword}&mr:ad=15761471664

Hunting boots: what's good and what isn't?

Seems like so far the danners and the kenetreks are a favorite but has anyone an opinion on the meidelles? I have seen a couple positive reviews but my dad has the Denali hunters and he says he isn't sure if he would buy them again so idk.
  9. I'm in the market (again) for a new pair of hunting boots. Yes I was just posting about a jacket but thats taken care of now and boots are now my next item on the list. So plz any input is great! I have regular width feet and no issues that will limit me! Thanks everybody y'all are great

  12. Coues sniper how much are you willing to sell it for? Im still deciding on if Sitka is appropriate for down south
  13. Thanks a bunch for the info, that helped alot!! Do you think it's possible to get forum goin on here and show Sitka that they need to do what you suggested? I have heard high talk about the kuiu guide jacket but it's camo is like the old army camo for the military. I don't think it was designed to be a hiking jacket more for sitting on hills glassing. The open country line from cabelas has done me wonders down south in thick stickers and they have several choices of pant. Just a suggestion. Have you heard anything of the kryptek brand? I think Sitka needs to design a stronger over shirt. Like one of the button up collared shirt with the chest pockets. With a thick stronger breathable material for hiking around through the stickers.
  14. Thanks for the suggestions so far guys! The under armor is a great idea I didn't think of that! As far as boots go I have about a 120 dollars to spend is that enough to get those meindelles? Thanks again! Y'all are a huge help
  15. I'm with you on not wanting to drop that much money on a single jacket! But I really need one that I can use for hiking to keep me warm on the colder day up in 3a/3c. Also alot of glassing we do is a quite a hike. I also need a another pair of boots but I don't know what I want. Same situation as the jacket but obviously it's boot not clothing.
