  1. Any 6mm br shooters out there? I have a question on 6mm br Remington vs 6mm br norma.
  2. The end of May I'm getting married, the middle of June we're moving to Durango. I'm selling a few things I won't be needing. First item is insulated flex duct. 1 unopened bag each of 6", 8", 10", 14", splices and two partial bags of 8". Asking $100 OBO for all of it. Second item is misc. round rigid duct. 4 pieces 10x48, 4 pieces 8x48 and misc fittings. Asking $100 OBO for all of it. Last but not least is some flagstone. Some pieces are in slabs and some I've cut into strips to make a natural stone veneer. I'm asking $50 for all of it. For the flagstone the buyer must pick up in Superior. You can either pm me on here or text me at five20-827-nine195
  3. I noticed four squat racks showed up on the public surplus auction site today and thought this would be a good place to post it if anyone is interested. the link to the site is http://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/all,az/browse/cataucs?catid=5 I live in a small town that doesn't have a gym so I've set up my own "home gym". Most of the equipment i have, ive bought through this site from various school districts. Equipment that would have cost me about $1300 new only cost me about $150. If anyone is in the market its worth checking out.

Smith and Wesson 686 6 inch

I've had two 6" S&W 686's over the years, and both were excellent guns. one of them was a 686 plus, the seven shot prdatr mentioned. Regretfully i traded both of them off a few year ago. If i wasnt getting married in a few months i would very interested in this gun. Knowing the dash number after the model number may be useful to prospective buyers. For example Mod. 686-6 good luck on the sale.
  5. I have a High Standard Sharpshooter. Its always been very reliable and accurate for both speed shooting, like in the Ruger Rim Fire Challenge, and for accuracy shooting, like in Hunter Pistol where targets range from 40-100 yards. In some ways I even prefer the High Standard over my S&W model 41; which is saying a lot. In my opinion the price point you have listed is only going to appeal to collectors. Its been my experience that collectors either want NIB condition or unfired NIB condition. Since this gun is at 90% condition I think it would appeal to a different market and the price would need to be adjusted to match. If I was the owner i would probably keep it and shoot it. Since its already been shot you wont really reduce the value by continuing to shoot it. If you friend does want to sell it i would take it to someone you trust and get an accurate appraisal then put it on gunbroker where you can appeal to a larger audience. I wish him luck in whatever he decides to do.

    OPENING MORNING NIGHTMARE

Hey proslayer, I work with your dad. He just told me the story and that really sucks. With globe being a small town someone you know probably knows the people who did it. Hopefully they will do the right thing and turn the low lifes in. . I try to be the optimistic one in a group so with keeping with that at least he was able to get one heck of a nice buck.
  7. This thread is a little old but I thought i would put my 2 cents in also. I greatly enjoy shooting pistols. I shoot 9mm through 460S&W in semi autos and revolvers. I think the three steps in choosing a sidearm are platform (semi auto or revolver), caliber, and last but not least carry system (holster). I read through most of this thread and there has been a lot of advise on platform and caliber but the right carry system makes a big difference too. For daily carry i use an inside the waistband holster with a glock 23, 27, or 22. For out in the hills either hiking or driving I carry a ruger alaskan in 44 mag. The problem I've had while out in the hills is hip and shoulder holsters get in the way of my backpack. I tried drop leg holsters but I'm not a fan. Then after a lot of research I found the guides choice holster from Diamond D custom leather in Alaska. The guides choice holster has worked out great for me. It keeps my pistol readily available but also doesn't get in the way. The ruger alaskan i carry in it is a heavy gun but with this holster i can carry it all day and not even notice. I'll attach a link to their website if you're interested. http://www.diamonddcustomleather.com/Chest_Holsters.php
  8. Not really hunting or shooting related but i thought someone on here might be interested. I'm selling my Graco X9Pro airless paint sprayer. I've had this sprayer for about 4 years. I've only put about 45 gallons through it. I originally bought the sprayer because I was planning on doing some side work for a property management company. the work fell through but my moms house needed painted so i kept it. I've painted three houses with it; my moms, a friends, and my house. After every use it was thoroughly flushed and all the filters removed and cleaned. This is a great sprayer that has worked very well for me. I dont plan on doing any more painting in the near future so instead of letting collect dust in the garage I'm selling it. attached is a link with more information about it, a few pictures, and a really low quality video of me painting my house this morning. New they sell for about $600 ($569 plus tax) I'm asking $400. thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Graco-ProX9-Airless-Paint-Sprayer-261820/100634360

    S&W M&P15 ORC

Haha, thanks for the counseling Mike. The red label is a nice shot gun; too nice for me. I took it hunting a few times and i was more worried about bumping or scratching the gun than finding birds. The guy i sold it too had just retired and had always wanted one so i made him a smokin deal. He loves it (it went to a good home), and hunts with it frequently. This M&P is a nice rifle too, I just never shoot it. So, instead of just taking up space in the safe i thought i would see if anyone else wants it.
