Reloading can be a pain and rifles can be finicky.....put those together and it can get pretty frustrating. However, when you find "THE" load it all seems worth it. I would try Retumbo or H1000 like others have mentioned. While the 4350's have worked for some in magnum chamberings, the slower powders like Retumbo and H1000 have a better track record and work better for heavier bullets. Also, a rifle that kicks the crap out of you can be hard to shoot consistently. A muzzle brake is well worth the investment, or push out your shooting sessions when you feel fatigued.

Don't forget the Nightforce SHV and Bushnell LRHS. The Nightforce can be had in sfp with MOAR and IHR reticle in MOA or ffp in MOA and mills. The Bushnell is only ffp and mills but worth a look. Also, if you can live with ffp and mills this is a heck of a deal..... http://www.milehighshooting.com/vortex-razor-hd-5-20x50-ebr-2b-10mrad-52006/

I forgot about this during my elk hunt but now it's back up. I will be heading to Flagstaff in a little when my meat is ready to be picked up. Can meet in Flag or somewhere along the way if anyone is interested.

Steven is a good friend of mine and I put up some good groups with that rifle. Deal with confidence.

My garage.

I bought a different handguard and swapped the upper on my predator rifle and needed to make everything match since the lower was Patriot Brown. I had some leftover Noveske Bazooka Green so a quick sandblast, a squirt of paint and 2 hours later it's ready to get back to killing.

There was one dead in Gilbert on Guadalupe between Higley and Greenfield Monday morning. I think they hang out in and around the Riparian Preserve.

Yep. You can use a firearm but the 1/4 mile rule applies. If there is an "occupied structure" closer than 1/4 mile then a pellet gun or bow are your options.

precision craft custom 6.5 284

Very nice. I know a Sendero contour is about as big as you can put in a Gamescout. How much stock is on either side of the barrel? Im wanting to get one but thinking about going with the Gamewarden cause of the wider front end. -
Good shooting.....and yes, it is addicting. One trick I like to use when verifying dope is to paint a "water line" on the target. Just paint a line across the middle of the target. It helps me focus more than just a dot and really helps to show high and low impacts across the target. What rifle are you shooting?

Yes. It will compare the current atmosphere numbers against the zero atmosphere numbers to give you a solution. The zero atmosphere isn't that important if you always shoot in similar conditions....but if you sight in at 2500' with 90 degree temps and the hunt at 7000' with 40 degree temps the solution will be much more accurate with the zero atmosphere info entered.

Low profile gas block installation

I've never had a rifle with an A2 sight, but I have removed a couple for friends. Just pound the pins out and it will come right off. -
Low profile gas block installation

The gas block will have to come off if he ever wants to change handguards. Might as well do it right the first time. There are jigs you can buy to dimple the barrel but im not sure if you will have the real estate for it since it was pinned. I have seen plenty of factory rifles that didn't have dimpled barrels and a bunch of clamp on blocks that hold their position. Just torque appropriately and use blue locktite. -

It depends on what features you want. If you are looking for something basic, then any forged lower will do. If you want more features like ambidextrous controls, integrated trigger guard and a better looking design then go with a machined billet lower. Check out the billet offerings from Predator Technology Group. My buddy owns the company and they are in Phoenix. I really like the design of their receivers.

We have an ion exchange unit at work and it is the biggest pain in the butt. It also produces dangerous byproducts when you regenerate that have to be hauled away and disposed of properly. Ferric media would be the best and easiest to deal with. You can bypass water and blend with the treated water to make the media last longer. I don't have any experience with small home units but I imagine they work just like a large municipal system. You can disinfect your well on your own by dumping 12.5% sodium hypochlorite down it. I would say 20 to 30 gallons and then surge the well a couple times to flood the column. After 24 hours, run it to waste to flush it out and take your BacT.

Me too. He did it while I waited....pretty cool. 50 bucks and he's on Meridian and Elliot.

I stepped 3" from one a couple weeks ago walking into a stand to call coyotes. It was about 5:20am and the sun was barley up. He was coiled up and didn't even move or make a sound.....surprised I didn't screech like a girl. I have been thinking about getting some snake boots or something since I often make it to the first stands before light.

A buddy and I managed to put down 3 foxes by the time it reached 100 degrees. I was able to get the first kills on my Tikka Varmint in 22-250 and Benelli M2. I haven't hunted without a suppressor for a long time and forgot how loud a rifle can be in a canyon. I need to drop the Tikka off for a thread job before I go back out. Im ready for it to cool off so we can get back to calling all day.

They are still thin. The first one had the best fur and the second had the worst.

You don't have to 4473 a rifle to yourself if you already own it. Lots of people ship rifles to themselves for an out of state hunt.

Up again. Lets get this sold!
