Sounds like a good plan to me In a few years when the game populations explode and the animals start dying due to starvation, the legislature will see the error of their ways. In their infinite wisdom they will raise the license fees further so they can use the money to hire "professionals" to undertake depredation game reductions o protect the environment. If everyone would just relax and not fight this, we'll see shortly that Government has us all taken care of. :o

Nathan, Great buck! Congrats. I Did not read the whole story but I'm guessing that some things were and are being taken out of context. Reporters like to make the story bigger and you don't have control of that in most cases If you want to share the general area of your spot, it's cool with me. Not sure I wouldn't do the same.

Great stuff! you guys have hot spot if all that came from the same area. Glad you posted the pictures so we can see what the really good arrowhead finds look like!

Nice find for sure. Lots of character! Thanks for posting the pics

Where the Heck am I???
az4life replied to gauchoand's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
You are in Republica Del Norte according to many mexicans. I wouldn't worry though, BO is going to bankrupt the country so in 10-20 years we can start going to mexico as illegals to take any government handout we can and take their jobs... -
when are the permits coming out

Got my Wyoming tags in the mail today... 2 for 2 on antelope applications Strike out on Bull Elk in my first choice area. I will just have to do a general Over The Counter tag for Elk again. -
I work with someone who spends a lot of time on the Nebraska riverbeds and along them. This is jsut what he described to me how he finds bones and such things after a good rain and runoff. He is more of an amateur but says he can pick out the spots just looking at geography. Seems the plains indians often lived near bends in the river and on one side. there are mounds that he looks for along the river which are often hear the settlements and usually burial grounds. I forget now which side he said, but any way you slice it you have a Pretty neat find. There may be more around the area. so keep looking!

congratulations on the early retirement Lark. AZ and US economy is going to find it hard to fill in their cut of your 4.5 million a year. Taxes are going to be going up before long with our new leadership so they won't get none from you. IMHO 55 is not early, but you are getting out just in time. Stop back and stir the pot once in a while

Probably Estes Park outside of Denver...

Remember what the man said. I couldn't ban guns even if I wanted to. He'll ban or put a sky high tax on ammo, knives, reloading supplies and about anything he can to prevent the uprising that is a coming when the people see that king Obama has no clothes.

Sounds like the security of GM needs help in more than monetary instances. Now that it's Government Motors, I'm betting they will throw some stimulus money to come up with a solution instead of the jimmy jammers. Probably an extra grand or so but hey, it's the government's solution so it has to be good!

Doug those are some awesome landscapes. The other "professional" landscape photographer would better watch out for her competition.

Found radio that was lost a year ago!
az4life replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Congratulations, That is a cool story Amanda. I wonder how many others have lost and found thier own items like that. I did that with a single glove one year and found it the next, but that's about all for me. -
I heard that Knight Muzzleloaders are no more. the parent company is giving up on them. Are these decent smoke poles? Sort of thinking about getting into black powder and thought I might be able to pick up a deal with the demise of the Knight line. Opinions welcome on the brand and specifics of what model to look for... Thanks

Yeah, Let us know if anyone has been there. I may be in town for business and would like to give them a try. Anyone know the hours and days? Did not see it on the site.

Looks more like Dubois area than Landers. I wonder if it was a Dodge Ramcharger, not a 4 runner though? Sorry, could not resist...

presidental failure
az4life replied to elkaholic's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
PrezBHO... Nothing good can come from him and ayone that believes it can is mentally unstable or brainwashed. Right now the CBO says that 1 of every 6 income dollars is coming from the government. Guess what folks, that figure is not sustainable. The taxpayers cannot support the liberal programs that pay you not to play! 2010 the inflation heading our way will make 10% unemployment look like a day at disneyland. -
The area where these sheds were found has already been salted for 6 years. I will be hunting this area opening week of the season. Everyone stay away as I've staked a claim. Chris (7x2)-xxx-xxxx

Obama's Youth brigade
az4life replied to GameHauler's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
World dictators and socialist all love BO. Pravda - on Obama's American shift to Marxism Media lemmings and dumbed down public screwel indoctrinated masses have been looking for a leader who will take care of teir every need and they found someone who promises what they want in Mr Obama. What they fail to realize is the government that is big enough to give everything you want, is also big enough to take everything you have. -
The Claw: First time test Impressive.
az4life replied to bobbyo's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I wondered about the claw, and now I guess the only downside is packing it along. Seems like it doubles as an optics pod so it could be the elusive, "win win" for hunters -
A Coyote gun? So they let you carry that at work?

Do you think president pelosi is behind this? It can't be BO since he said he wouldnt even if he could. The Obamassiah would not lie would he?

Obama's Citizenship Questioned Again
az4life replied to GameHauler's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Passport issue should be an easy thing for media to check. I had not heard this angle but I bet there is fire with this smoke! The media and libs do not want to check or prove this because they were so vested in getting him elected they do not want to look bad when he goes down.
