Would it be possible to send me some more pics of the bow? I could provide an email or cell phone number. The picture posted comes out very small when I open it.

Vortex Razor HD 12x50 and Eyeglasses

Thanks twigsnapper. This is exactly the type of feedback I was hoping to get. I may have to end up going with the Kaibabs, the have an eye relief of 17.4 mm and are within my budget.
  7. Anybody out there wear glasses and use the Vortex Razor HD 12x50 binoculars? Looking to buy some new optics but was wondering how this particular model performed wearing glasses with just a 15.5 mm eye relief. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Vortex Razor HD 12x50 and Eyeglasses

Thanks for the feedback. I was just looking up some specs and the earlier non HD model has an eye relief of 19mm which would work fabulous with glasses. I was curious about the newer model with an eye relief of 15.5mm. I've read everything I can find on the internet about eye relief and glasses and the review/opinions are very mixed. Many of the birding sites mention the design of the actual eye cups really have an impact on how well binoculars perform while wearing glasses as well as the size of the ocular lenses. Was hoping some forum members could shed their own experiences with this model while wearing glasses.

    Tripod head thread size adapter

@rcdinaz, thanks. I'll try that route also.
  19. Hello all. Hope a forum member could shed some light on this topic for me. I have a Vortex High Country tripod. It came with a ball head but I would rather use a pan head. I just purchased a Slik 707e pan/tilt pan head to replace the ball head. My issue is the once I removed the ball head, the thread size is too big for the Slik tripod head. Anybody know where I can get an adaptor to go from one thread size to another?

    Tripod head thread size adapter

Thanks Amanda. That would be great. The male threaded end is 3/8" from the tripod and the slik female end is 1/4". I'll PM you my info. Thanks.
