Last year on my bull hunt my buddy was useing a ma21 e caller to locate bulls. This thing was crazy loud and seemed to work very well when we used one certan bugle he had programed on it. So i cant talk my self into dropping 600 bucks on the same call. I have found a foxpro wild fire 2 in my price range. Does any one on here have one? If so how loud is it? I have tried mouth calls and plane and simple im no good whith them. Any personal info on this unit would be great.

Thanks for all the congrats fellas. Im allready getten jazzed up for the 2014 elk draw picking units and what not. Even tho the bible is not out yet. 99% of me wants to go 23n first choice agian but im 100% sure it wont happen 2 years in a row .so good luck to you guys that do draw that hunt and can i come help? What a unit

Airmark, can I put in with you? That's incredible. I know they aren't premium hunts but lets crunch the numbers on one guy having that much luck over that much time. I'm just jealous.Ok so let mr tell ya about my hunting bro. We have had all the same elk tags execpt 23n we did seperat apps lasr year.he has taken spikes on all the 22hunts. He has also drew 2 kibab tags in three years. This year we put in on the same tag. Normaly we dont for deer. Crunching numbers is just putting way to much into it I THINK. Now im gunna stop talking becouse i dont want to jinx this years draw. P.s. paper apps only. Online stuff sucks.

Now now flatliner thats funny. Those other tags were all 22n late archery hunts and one 5bs late rifle hunt. I think if guys want to hunt they can get drawn , ya just cant gi for gold everytime. I think there are alot of archery tags that are ez to draw thing is most are not rutt tags. Who knows its a draw my buddys think i know or pay some one off. Anyway just a thought p.s take no ofense to flatliner coment. Just trying to throw some fun in. Also when i draw 23n early hunt agian this year you can come hang out and see what its like if ya want .L,O,L.

My thoughts... gunna roll the dice and put in for the hunts i want. It is a random draw? This year i drew 23n early archery bull with one loyalty point and one bonuse point from 2012. Before that i had 5 bull tags in a row. I also drew 12aw late hunt with a loyalty point only. I just came up early in both draws. Now ill probably never draw a tag agian but it is just a draw. Gota be same gene pool but i think your rite not the same bull. On my bulls right side he has a tine growing in the midel of what ill call the wale tail that makes him 6 on that side. You can also see it in the velvit trail cam pic in orginal post. The last set dosent have that spike and is a 6 on his right. I dont know much about how they grow from year to year but cool pics none the less. Hes no 400 bull but he is to me. Seems this bull has a speacial story and back ground and for me to be able to take him as my first elk ever and with my bow makes him a 400 plus to me. Ill be trying like heck to get a bigger one for the rest of my life but if i dont im ok with that. He will be hanging on my wall with his mule deer budy ( also taken this year and also my first mule deer). And then on to my son for him to enjoy after im gone. I no this is the elk forum but il post a pic of my buck here to see what you guys think they will look like together on my wall. Taxi bills this year are crazy, but worth everypenny.i had no idea what mounts realy cost .lol.

Ive been posting pics and txt from my phone. This is the only hunt sight that i can do it at. There is another option when trying to post a pic.its in small print. Something about haveing trouble try ..... its been working for me.

Pixman we have the entire hunt on video. We filmed this bull for two days before the kill chaseing off other bulls and being his bad self rutten with his cows. He had a sad ending to his life. Minuts before the shot a bigger bull came in and put a woopen on him and took his cows. I was 50 yards from the bigger bull on draw but never had a shot. Once my taxidermist is done editing all the video ill see about getting a copy and get it to ya if youd like.

G/f siad he teeth were still pretty sharp and hebwasbprobably 3 1/2-4 years old..i also packed out the gut pile for a chance at winning something from the rafel they are supposed to be haveing. Does anyone know were to find imfo on the rafel? Ive surfed there sight but can only find info about it and nothi.g about when tthey actualy do the drawing. Yup ide love to win the navijo hunt lol.

Great bull, congrats! I had the same hunt, what a awesome time it was.I wonder if we crossed pathes. We camped at valentine camp ground and drove around in a red ford desil. Did you tag out? There were some nice bulls taken on that hunt.i think mines the smallest that ive seen.

Well after many unsucsesful elk hunts i finaly arrowed my first bull this year.since i just figueed out how to post pics i thought ide share. For those that have seen pics on other sights sorry about a repost..bull was shot at 40 yards and was done with in 60 yards. One pic is him the day before he was taken and the trail cam pic was sent to me from another hunter that thought ide like to have the pic. Enjoy

This is my 12aw buck from this years late hunt. Hes not a 4x4 but im happy with him for my first mule deer.

Ok so if im reading this corectly 5 wounded bulls,10 confirmed hunter one shot kills? I had tag#9 out of 15. I killed my bull at 40 yards with one shot so thats 11 dead bulls. 4 hunters wounded 5 bulls? I wonder how many bulls realy got shot.idk but your bull is gnarly bro
