623 236 7733 - # for Special Draw - Draw results issues? CONFIRMED!
AmericanThunder replied to n2horns's topic in The Campfire
Im in the same boat. Called them yesterday and they said they had my address wrong even though it is correct on my receipts and portal account. Called them again today and they said they were still working on the issue. Doesn't look like I was ever entered into the draw. -

I have a 13' 4x4 ecoboost and absolutely love it. Yotebuster is spot on when he says do not buy this for fuel savings alone though. I had it about a year with stock tires and no lift and averaged 19 mpg with 90% of my driving being freeways @ 75mph. Put a leveling kit and 33" tires on it and it dropped to about 17.5 mpg under the same conditions. Pulls my ranger crew on a 14' trailer like a dream. Guzzles gas doing it though. get about 13mpg on flat ground towing it or about 9 when headed up to flag or the rim. Absolutely no loss of power though. Thing would do 85 up the hill to Flag or the rim all day long. Drove a 6.0 powerstroke for awhile and towing the ranger almost feels the same. I also think they have worked out the ecoboost shudder that some of the early ones had too. Haven't had that issue with mine.

True story right there. We were going back and forth between a 12' and 14' and ultimately got the 14'. 12' is just too short. It will fit, but just barely. Won't leave any room for ice chests, storage containers, etc. This is the exact trailer we got. http://haystrailersales.com/detailcargo.asp?ID=477954

I was in a similar situation to you last year. We traded in our 2 Honda ranchers for a Ranger crew. Best decision ever. Way more comfortable to ride and can haul a good amount of gear with you if need be. The dry weight of our Ranger is about 1500lbs plus about a 3000 lb 14' trailer. That's a little heavy for your hybrid. We bought it used through a Ride Now dealership and saved about $4K doing so. Wouldn't rule it out.

That looks like them! I was gonna say the same thing. I have a FHF case and love it.

Latest Danner Outlet Sale 50%+ Off Special Starts at 9:00 AM PST

Bought a pair of work boots a few months ago. Great program. -
I used to use the soft rear bags on my 2 honda ranchers. They worked great, but the biggest drawback I found was they were by no means waterproof. The hard cases have a leg up there. No rear storage bag either hard case or soft is going to come with seat belts. When you look at the package I am sure it will say something to the effect that "the padded seat and arm rest is not to be used while the vehicle is in motion". Unless your ATV is built for 2 riders (you wouldn't need a padded rear bag if it was), it is illegal to ride double. I have been stopped multiple times by game and fish and the forest service for that, but thankfully most people are reasonable and just let me off with a warning. Seems ridiculous I know, but the law is the law.

I have been wondering how long it would take a company to come out with something like this. Surprised it took this long actually. Looks kind of clunky and heavy though. What do you guys think? http://www.bowhunting.com/blog/2015/09/15/range-aim-shoot-with-bowranger-bow-sight/

I haven't seen any new posts about the processing. is Browning's still in business? -
Just a FYI. Arizona Elk Society just started a new Hunt for Heroes program to assist wounded vets with hunts. My wife is donating her bull tag to it. OE4A is great also. Just thought I would share another option.

True story. I have one and would't give him up for anything, but he is a loaded spring 24/7. Make sure you are ok with that if you ever decide to get one.

Took my dog up to Flag this weekend for a hunt trial. I think I need more practice than he does. Anyone else getting excited for quail season? -

Question for you Computer Guys??? Routers
AmericanThunder replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
If you want to take full advantage of your 100Mbps data package, prepare to spend a little more for a higher end router. You will need to disable encryption and use a 5ghz wireless N setting, don't use mixed. You want a Dual N band router at minimum to reliably get 90-150 Mbps (depending on distance from router). If you are sticking to a budget and don't need blazing fast speed. The TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 is hard to beat. It is probably the cheapest router that supports the 802.11az wireless, but you will probably at best get around 50-60Mbps. Which should be fine for what you said you use it for. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BUSDVBQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=XF2T3VFWVFL3&coliid=I2A4U2Z43O6JAT -

Headed up to Minnesota tomorrow to do some fishing and visit family. I have been spoiled through the years fishing in Minnesota. When I get back here it is like night and day.
