    EliteXC Tonight

The kimbo fight was one of the worst mma fights i've ever seen. What a joke. I wish they'd put him up against a real fighter instead of these losers. He would get destroyed. The show last night looked like a wwe production and the announcers didn't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. It made mma look stupid.

    UFC tnight!!!

The fights were all very good. I'm happy kieth got knocked the f out but I think that ref did a horrible job in stopping the fight. Silva knocked him out, then knocked him back into consciousness and then back out again. Now I can't stand Jardin, but thats how people end up with long-term brain damage. That ref has a bad reputation for stopping fights too early or too late. And as for the bj penn fight, I don't think i've ever yelled so loud in my life. That fight could not have ended better! BJ Penn is the man!

COUES WHERE YOU CAN'T HUNT 'EM

There are absolutely no deer in unit 32. You're better off staying in 33

    22-250

My hunting buddies all use their 22-250 for coues. They've killed many big deer with them. Ipersonally love my 25-06. I can put down anything from coyotes to big mulies and at very long distances
  6. Just like everything else there are the people who swear by them and people who hate them. If loss of arrow speed is all you're worried about, then 2 or 3 fps is nothing at all. The problem it seems I hear with the people who have had them and hate them, is 1; fletching damage and 2; loss of accuracy after shooting through the rest over a long period of time.
  7. Got this in an email. Very interesting... ******Social Security change 2008******* All three candidates voted for it. The United States Senate voted to extend Social Security Benefits to Illegal Aliens beginning in 2008. Now, the following are the senators who voted to give illegal aliens Social Security benefits. They are grouped by home state. If a state is not listed, there was no voting representative. Alaska: Stevens ® Arizona : McCain ® Arkansas : Lincoln (D) Pryor (D) California : Boxer (D) Feinstein (D) Colorado : Salazar (D) Connecticut : Dodd (D) Lieberman (D) Delaware : Biden (D) Carper (D) Florida : Martinez ® Hawaii : Akaka (D) Inouye (D) Illinois : Durbin (D) Obama (D) Indiana : Bayh (D) Lugar ® Iowa : Harkin (D) Kansas : Brownback ® Louisiana : Landrieu (D) Maryland : Mikulski (D) Sarbanes (D) Massachusetts : Kennedy (D) Kerry (D) Montana : Baucus (D) Nebraska : Hagel ® Nevada : Reid (D) New Jersey : Lautenberg (D) Menendez (D) New Mexico : Bingaman (D) New York : Clinton (D) Schumer (D) North Dakota : Dorgan (D) Ohio : DeWine ® Voinovich® Oregon : Wyden (D) Pennsylvania : Specter ® Rhode Island : Chafee ® Reed (D) South Carolina : Graham ® South Dakota : Johnson (D) Vermont : Jeffords (I) Leahy (D) Washington : Cantwell (D) Murray (D) West Virginia : Rockefeller (D), by Not Voting Wisconsin : Feingold (D) Kohl (D) (This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.) Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years. Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it. You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan. For all practical purposes their plan works like this: When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die. Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments.. For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives. This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries. Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives. Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA... ZILCH... ZERO!!! This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds; 'OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK '! From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer). We can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after retirement. Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits! Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made. That change would be to: Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us Then sit back... And see how fast they would fix it.

    What to do in Maine?

Head about an hour south to New Hampshire to Loon Mountain. There are alot of things to do there. Also, find someone with a small boat to take you fishing on one of the dozens of little ponds in NH. Catching pickerel on rooster tails is a blast. You may want to check and see when the turkey season is up there.

    "Quiet" boot covers

I've thought about picking up a pair of those at sportsmans warehouse. My girlfriend and I made a stalk this past january on some deer, took off our boots, and snuck approx. 250yds in our socks to within about 25 yds of the deer when they spooked. After wallking all the way back to our shoes, and full of thorns, stickers and rocks, my girlfriend made the suggestion of getting some moccasins. I couldn't believe I hadn't thought about that before. I think we're gonna try that this year.

    Snakes

I've seen the most when dove hunting. I've seen quite a few of the green rattlers fishing on the black river on the San Carlos

    Take a woman hunting!!

I took my girlfriend on her first hunt in sept on a dove hunt and now she has a bow and gets upset if I go and she has to work or has other obligations. She puts in every hunt with us and LOVES the outdoors. She definitely has the fever. She went on her first big game hunt for fall bear, and she will be going on her first deer hunt this year, either archery or rifle, depending on if we get drawn

Scouting Footage Of A Big Bear

Sweet looking bear. The place I hunt for them have quite a few bears and all real good size, but I don't think I've seen one that big. The biggest bear we've pulled out of there weighed in around 350lbs

    Last Day Fox

Well me and a guy I work with had to drive up to globe for work on Monday. He makes the wonderful suggestion to throw the shotguns in the truck and do some callin on the way up there. So we find a good lookin spot and park the truck. After about 2 minutes of him calling, this guy comes joggin in straight at me at about 10 yds! So I slowly raise the gun and put the bead on his chest. Just as he looks up and lets out an "oh sh..." BAAMM!! I put the smack down on him. Its my first fox and his first fox to come in to a call! We also got 2 muley bucks to come in about 150 yds yesterday as we were trying to call in some yotes. Going out again tomorrow for some coyotes and again on Sunday!

    brown whitey sheds

I saw a couple muley bucks the other day with the antlers still attached while predator calling. A small 2x3 or 3x3 I couldn't really tell, and a spike.

    Last Day Fox

It actually didn't do too much damage. I shot him in the chest dead on at 10 yds. I was using the BB 3" 12ga. There was quite a bit of blood on the head and chest but once that was cleaned up, it wasn't as bad as you'd think I had my extra-full turkey choke on my mossberg 835 with 28" barrel. I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a member of XPC and he was telling me that the "Dead Coyote" "T" shot is the absolute best for shotgun on yotes. I was gonna buy some but when I saw that they were 32 bucks for ten shells I almost sh!t myself.

    Last Day Fox

Thanks guys, and yeah, I was kinda unprepared and had to use my phone for the pics. I can't wait til August 1st to get another one. The place we found is a gold mine for foxes!

    Elk Impacting Your Coues Hunts?

Well since I didn'y get drawn this year I'm going to go archery deer in the same exact spot as my elk hunt would've been except I'll be there a few weeks earlier!(Unless I get drawn for my unit 32 Dec WT hunt) in which case I'm going bear hunting in that same spot!
