Bill, I did a bit of research and Nikon product # 820 Binoc-U-Mount is the ticket. This allows you to attach most binoculars which are not equipped with a 1/4"-20 threaded tripod socket to any tripod head with a 1/4"-20 screw. The Nikon Monarch does have the screw out cap revealing a center post 1/4" threaded tripod socket , and if you prefer a post style adapter you can use the Minox #69727 Universal binocular tripod adapter.

Do you already have digital series lenses for Minolta? The reason that I ask is because Minolta/Konica went out of the camera and optics business March 31st. There are still cameras around but since they are out of the industry I would shy away from it.
