Word from Vortex on their Razor Eyepiece Swap: Razor eyepiece The new ocular is an evolutionary, in-line change and is designed to provide slightly friendlier "eyebox" as compared to the earlier model. This will be most noticeable at higher magnifications. Any owner of an earlier Razor is welcome to send it in at their leisure to have the new eyepiece installed free of charge; there are no time limits on this swap. New eyepieces will be available by springtime, but we do recommend customers call in prior to returning their scopes to avoid unnecessary delays. Please note that this exchange does not have anything to do with the reticle. Reticle changes can be done while the scope is in the shop, but the standard $ 150 fee applies.

I am off to the SHOT Show I am out of the store and off to the SHOT Show. Neil is left behind @ the store to take care of Sports Optics and Joel is there to handle Cameras. I left Friday wide open to just walk the show and see what I can see that would also make sense to add to our product line. Who knows what I may find, but you can be sure I will have my eyes open. As usual I will do my best to obtain a truck load of demo goods from the show and do a post and e-mail blast when I return of all those goodies. It may be faster to have Vortex replace them to you as they are located in Wisconsin and we're on the East Coast. If you call their customer service @ 1-800-426-0048 I am sure they will issue a call tag to retrieve the defective unit and send a new replacement out to you. If you prefer to send it back to us to replace that is fine too. Whatever is best for you is best for us. Again, I am sorry there was a situation, it is not the norm as Vortex products are excellent quality.
