It may be faster to have Vortex replace them to you as they are located in Wisconsin and we're on the East Coast. If you call their customer service @ 1-800-426-0048 I am sure they will issue a call tag to retrieve the defective unit and send a new replacement out to you. If you prefer to send it back to us to replace that is fine too. Whatever is best for you is best for us. Again, I am sorry there was a situation, it is not the norm as Vortex products are excellent quality.
