Nick, The 15x56's are excellent and yes much lighter. I can see a slight difference between these and the 15x58's, however, i have clients who have told me they prefer the Minox BL 13x56 to the 15x58 so it really is a personal thing

We got back yesterday and the trip was great. The weather was good with flat to 3' seas so getting out fishing everyday was no problem. Fishing was slow for Kodiak and we were only able to net 500 pounds of filets (yes, that is slow for a week in Kodiak, we're so spoiled).
