Selling a almost new, never used in the field Easton Fullbore XT 3600 pack in Realtree Xtra. 3600ci main bag is separate from the pack and attaches via the meat flap that can tuck away in its own compartment and the 2 side wings that having zippered compartments. I bought this pack new and never used it. Asking $100 obo I'm in Mesa at Higley and Southern in the evenings or can meet in Phoenix by the airport during the day. Is it a hook type or a caliper? I have a Hardcore Max (hook type) that is great, but I have a Tru Fire single jaw caliper that I can't even use anymore because it feels too jumpy for me. Have to pull the trigger way too much which made me pull shots. And its not adjustable.

If looks aren't important, I would take a serious look at the Steyr M40-A1. Mine is one of my favorite pistols to shoot, and the recoil is the same or even less than my Glock 19 9mm. Super pleasant to shoot. Very under-rated gun.

I doubt that anyone who thinks the stopping power of a 9mm is inadequate would volunteer to stand in front of one when it goes off. That said, Arizona Firearms and Collectibles in Tempe (and now far east Mesa) has pretty decent prices on 40's. I have recommended the Bowtech Carbon Icon to alot of people looking for an easy to draw, easy to shoot hunting bow that you don't have to take a second mortgage out to purchase. It is real light and nice to carry. Plus, it is carbon, so it doesn't get cold when the temps drop. I wish I still had mine.

You probably wont need calls on that hunt. UA is good, I either have something Merino wool or I used the EWCS base layers from Bass Pro on my 4B late hunt last year and was super warm with that and just pants and a light early season jacket in the snow.

Congrats on the tag! You will have the time of your life! One often overlooked piece of gear for an archery elk hunt is your fitness. Start getting into shape now! You need to be in real good shape to get into canyons where they will be hiding and even more important, after the shot you need to be able to get him out! Don't worry so much about what you will need. Chances are you already have everything you need. Decent binos. Decent hunting clothes. Your bow is fine I would maybe take it to a good pro shop and have them check it out, the sooner the better. Maybe get a back up set of strings for it just in case. You don't want to have to try and order new ones a week before your hunt or even worse, try to get your bow tuned 2 weeks before hunting season. Get some diaphragm calls and practice them in the car on your way to work. Don't get a Hoochie Mama! Go to Elknut.com. He has some real good bugles that are easy to use, along with some good books and videos on how to use them. Paul is a great guy to talk to also if you have any questions about elk.

My charge was put back in and not pending anymore. Whew!

My pending charge for my sons tag is gone too. Maybe they did this so they wouldn't get bothered at the expo about the draw. Now that the expo is over, they can take everyone's money back.

I got hit this morning. They took my tag away from me and put my money back in my account.

I don't know what's worse, not drawing a tag, or logging into my bank this morning for last minute hope and seeing the charge for my son's tag completely gone! Not pending or anything! I never thought I would be so upset to see more money in my bank account than I should have.

Son drew a rifle tag! Yeah baby!
