Ready?!? I'm late to my late archery hunt! Started a week ago and I cant leave til tonight!

I have a shirt that shows a picture of a hunter taking aim, with the quote "If God Intended For Us To Be Vegetarians, He Would Have Made Broccoli More Fun To Shoot At". He would have made it taste better too!

Go to www.aresgear.com and check out their aegis belt. That's what I use and I can wear my S&W 29 6" on my hip and not know its there. VERY stiff belt. You can get it at larue tactical (larue.com) for less and you get a cool bottle opener and a delicious jar of bbq rub.

I love the looks I get from the anti hunters when I wear this shirt around.

Unfortunately some of their comments border cyber bullying. Anti-gun/hunters never think of what they are actually saying or doing before vomiting their beliefs and to the world. Scum. If you read some of Staci's comments, she is actually replying to some of them and is not letting the negativity bother her. Good for her! It is fun to point out how dumb they really are by replying to them though!

You are a good man SirRoyal! I have more great memories hunting with my dad with us eating tag soup than I do actually harvesting an animal. Hopefully getting that close to tagging an elk has just fueled the fire for creating a lifetime elk hunter! Oh and welcome tho the CWT family AzRoper!

I took a cow elk a few years back with a 5.5" Ruger Bisley in 45lc shooting a 300gr hard cast Buffalo Bore that did a pretty good job. Maybe a 25 yd shot. Can't imagine a 300gr 44 mag to be much different. I have carried a 44 mag Redhawk with 300gr XTP's as a backup before on past elk hunts.

Hey bud, just an fyi, that is a regular Redhawk, not a Super Redhawk or an Alaskan. Here is is what a Super Redhawk and an Alaskan looks like.

I had traded my PSE Evo Max for this bow. I just wanted to try something new and I am glad I did. Its not as fast , but a lot lighter and smoother to draw.

There are a few icons on ArcheryTalk right now in the $450 to $500 range.

If you aren't dead set on the Carbon Knight I might suggest shooting a Carbon Icon as well. I just got mine last night and I absolutely love it! The grip is a little more rounded on the back (The CK is more square and not as comfy) and you can set the mods on "Performance" or "Comfort". Mine on comfort at 70# feels like I'm pulling low 60's and I can hold it all day long at full draw. And its super quiet.

Hello all. Selling my 2013 PSE Evo Max black finish is in great shape. Only marks on it are where the rest set screw is. Draw adjusts from 26-30" easily without a press. Draw weight is 60-70#. Bare bow but can put a Ripcord SOS on if needed. Also have a set of brand new Orange/silver with black pinstripe strings from Johns Custom Archery (Breathn on ArcheryTalk) that I never got around to installing that come with bow. Asking $450 obo.

I was in 27 last year with an archery cow tag. It was pretty quiet for it being the first half of Sept. But we had those tropical storms coming in from Mexico making for some bad weather. Kind of seemed like the archery season was a week or two too early. October should be pretty decent this year up there.
