Put in for unit 9 early and late rifle cow, but didn't get a hit. So, going to put in for deer for the first time this year. Normally just whitetail hunt in Arkansas, but going to see if I can get both deer hunts in this year.

Just checked my applications on the new portal and it went from 7 entries (3 drawn and 4 not drawn) down to 6 entries (3 of each). I've drawn every other year for the past 8 years. They're running something and I won't be surprised if the results are up later today.

We had better than a 50/50 chance of being drawn. Here were our odds: All are for resident, 2 points, rifle, unit 9 Elk: 1. Early rifle cow 23% 2. Late rifle cow 54% Unfortunately, we haven't been drawn...yet. Still holding out a sliver of hope.

Congrats hoghntr! I'm waiting for a cow hunt cc hit. Hoping to hunt 2 years in a row for the first time in a while.

Not a good year to be a 3 seed! I had Iowa State going to the elite 8, but read something about Georgia State, so picked them in a first round upset.

1. Missouri Whitetail (these were in an area with lots of corn and soy bean fields). 2. Elk 3. Arkansas Whitetail 4. Other deer 5. Antelope 6. Bear Have heard moose and mountain lion are both really good. Plan on trying out some moose and caribou on a trip to AK in a couple of months.

If azhchunter is correct, and no reason not to believe him, it sounds like they started running the draw jobs at G&F. I don't know their systems, but they probably run a sample through and verify results before running the full draw. It might still be another day or two before they actually start hitting CCs, but it sounds like it will be this week. Best of luck to all on here in the draw!

Since they started hitting CCs on or around Thursday March 20th last year, I'm guessing this Thursday the 19th. Mine was hit on the 21st last year.
