Has anyone hunted 21 lately, looks like I got drawn. Excited it's the first hunt since being over seas.

Gonna drive it here in a couple weeks before I take a trailer in.

Any of you done this? The knees aren't what they use to be after the military and I'm headed to a pretty open area, so thinking about taking my horse. Any thoughts or advise

I haven't decided on the 300 BO I'm also interested I the 6.8 heated good things about it also but requires new barrel and mags bolt etc. looking into this for an ar platform

If I'd had the funds for it I would've put an Acog or Aimpoint on, I actually think there the best. I went with the Nikon cause I can see through it easily it has a small amount of magnification, I shoot both ways both eyes open or one closed I think the best thing to do is go and look through them then decide

I did not read all the posts I admit but might be able to help. If your positive it's not the ammo meaning it shoots through another rifle just fine then it's that particular rifle. Ok it's had a lot done it sounds like when did the trouble start, ie after the trigger was installed or glass bed etc. Better yet try different ammo

I put the Nikon on me AR and am very happy. The P223 is short so I had to use Nikons mounts as well I'll bring it up if you want to see it

The tricks and gimmicks like Vicks in the nose will get one or both hurt. It could also cause the horse to mistrust you and that's something I don't want to doI wouldn't use rope for hobbles since it's easy to cause rope burns You can't beat training and spending time with the horse, it creates a bond and trust going both ways
