Ruger Precision Rifle NIB 6.5 creedmoor Gen 2 $2850

They are heavy! Especially for hunting, i know because mine was used for my deer and my wifes deer last year. But they are tack drivers. Price sucks on these things but they look awesome and shoot awesome. The nice thing is being able to use AR grips, handguards, scope mounts....etc. that being said this guy is definitely high on his price if he's serious. -
Wow, I bet that was exciting (I could barely keep it together at 43 yds on a spike last year). Congrats to a young hunter getting it done. Great bull, awesome experience!

Great for you guys. Awesome looking bull.
-
Dang, that sucks. Im guessing it's a nice bull.

Couple posts down from this is a win mag.

I haven't done the whole story yet. Getting pics and video gathered up. You need to settle down sir!

Way to put meat in the freezer Mike! Looks delicious to me.
-
True but another member might have pics of him before he got all busted up. I would just like to get him fixed up a little.
-
I'm definitely going to get a shoulder mount. Anyone have a recommendation for someone to rebuild his left antler and maybe add his missing brow tine back to the right side? I probably won't replace the chipped up tines but I would like to put the major stuff back on. Sponsors feel free to send me a PM if you do this kind of work or have suggestions.

He was a fighter. Just couldn't find the bull he was a match for. Must have beat each other up and spread out.

Ended up shooting a coyote on the elk hunt a few days ago. 7mm STW is not fur friendly. I will be getting him tanned since he has nice color and decent fur.
-
He had a couple scars and bare spots from fighting but no punctures. Looks like his antlers took all the damage.

Ya, I noticed after the pictures I looked mad. But I'm happy with this bull. He's definitely a mature bull like I was looking for. You can't even wrap your hands around his bases due to all the mass. It took about 24 hours to decide I wanted to go back for him after seeing him a few times.

Well, got it done. Put an old heavy and busted up bull on the ground. Saw plenty of bulls every day that were just in that 310-325 class. Calling was decent..... weather was up and down. Had a blast. I'll get a picture up soon.

Plenty of 220-230 bulls. Still searching for the big guy. Bulging alright, weather is different every day. Had rain, hot, cold, windy, smokey. ....
-
Few hours to go. Still getting stuff ready even tho I had tons of time to prep. Getting pretty pumped despite the lousy elk reports lately.

First bull is always good. Who cares how big. Especially on an archery hunt (my first archery bull was a spike on the 12th evening since I was trying to be picky). Luckily you didn't have to build points forever to get a tag. Congrats on the first of hopefully many.

Leaving town in less than 48 hours. Still haven't found the bull I'm looking for, but I'm getting excited.

Any elk is a good elk. Congrats on a successful archery hunt.
