    Unit 10 map?

I am looking for a Unit 10 map. I have done some research and it looks like the retired G&F Officer, Tim Pender, had made a map of the unit. Does anyone know where I can get this info? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum-feel free to move it. Thank you so much for the info.

    Ross Outdoors

Good question. I have seen some really nice Unit 10 maps, but not sure where they came from. I have heard that the retired G&F Officer had made a really nice map of Unit 10. Is this the map they are selling?

    Why do we hunt Coues?

Well....I would have to say ALL THE ABOVE. I really enjoy glassing God's country looking for them, I feel they are beautiful animals, they can up and disappear on you and humble you quickly. So All the above would be my answer-good question. I look forward to seeing others responses.

I attended a seminar on these dogs, and they are awesome. Trying to buy a trained one thou will break the bank. I just give my lab ones to chew on and get him excited over them.

    Scouting?

Thanks for being a good samaritan and picking up the trash. I would bet that there are still plenty of deer in there. Where I hunt in 36C there were plenty (too many for me) illegals and drug smugglers, but also lots of deer. Good luck to ya!

    Got a Bear!

Well, I finally got my first bear. During my hunt I glassed 6 different bears-one was a sow with two cubs. I finally sealed the deal with this beautiful cinnamon bear. I shot the bear at 4:00, but didn't get the hide and meat packed out of that canyon until 2:30 the next morning. Like my buddy said "It was a bear of a job." I love that saying now, and know its true meaning. My buddy figured the bear at about 250 pounds. It was my first bear and I will have memories to last a lifetime. Hope the pictures turn out.
