I am changing the vanes on my carbon express arrows from the blazers and was considering the Max Hunter vanes. Has anybody tried these with fixed broadheads? Do they stabilize the arrow faster? I'm going to put them on using the Arizona e-z fletch mini with the maximum helical. David

I use the Max Hunter vanes with wac'em fixed broadheads, although a smaller profile fixed head that combination sure shoots bullets for me. A lot better than blazers IMO, groups are tighter, even at longer distances. I fletch them the same way as you are planning
to do and this is the only set up I will use now, nothing but great performance for me.

Slick tripod has been great for me. Can't go wrong, sturdy, light and reliable.

I've got a digital antenna for my tv (around $20) and now I can get channel 4.
In case Directv /4 problem isn't resolved in time for playoffs or Super Bowl.

Not a book, but I would highly recommend CWT sponsor Flatline Maps. Great maps for you needs.

I have the havalon piranta and outdoor edge razor blaze, both are extremely sharp. IMO the outdoor edge is the only way to go, it's more sturdy, feels better in my hand and a lot easier/safer to change the blade.

Hey guys. Had to pick up a leftover tag after being skunked. Ended up with a 36a tag but have not hunted there in 15 years or so. Used to have access to areas but mostly closed now. Places I used to go are now homes or closed on the east side of the unit. Hunted 36c for 25 years right across the street. I have the early November hunt with my uncle and a friend. Can anyone pm me with a bit of the lay of the land? Seems like lots of low desert with barren mountains in the center. Flats to the west. Houses north and east. South looks more muley-like. Not looking for honey holes just areas to expect to see some bucks. This will be a meat hunt but do not want to hunt with 497 people on the same hill. Thanks for the input!!! Sorry to have to ask for information this way to start the hunt but times sure have changed since I was down there last!

1 pin to 40 yards, whats not to like...fastest bow on the planet for 5 years..someone needs to blast through an elk and pin it to a boulder somewhere with this.... thinking I need a backup to my 85 pounder....
85 pounder?! You are a stud! The few animals I have shot with this bow never knew what hit 'em and died quickly with this setup.
