Tell him thank you for the extra pics, those frontal shots are awesome. Dear God that deer is unreal. I could look at it all day. And I hope he gets the skull back as well. It's unfortunate that a few apples ruin it for the rest. That's a big problem in Mexico that most people don't realize either: cowboys shooting big bucks and selling the skulls to hunters who come hunt the ranch.

I agree with the lower power and more eye relief. My first rifle I had to have special rings that brought the scope back far enough to get a full and proper view. And unless your son is adept at long distance, a lower power is probably fine. It's always easy to upgrade if need be.

I've had issues sending pm's also. If I click on the envelope icon at the top of the screen it just thinks forever and says it can't. When I go in through my profile to my messages, it gives me a similar fatal error message when i submit.

It's actually caused by sinusitus as mentioned above. Rams here in Southern NV get it pretty bad. I've been told it will eventually kill the ram as the bot flies get inside their skull.
