Happy Birthday Amanda. Thanks for everything
-
That's nuts. Wonder how you score that thing? I'm serious.

My old man started taking me on all day hikes on hunts when I was 5. I still remember that hunt. It was an archery pig tag, and I made the decision on which way to go when the trail split, and we got onto a herd of pigs no more than 5 minutes later. I almost got run over by 3 pigs when Pops busted them up! I loved every minute of it. Get him out there! Heck, I went on my first elk hunt at 3 months!

+1, on all counts

Pretty buck! I was hoping to see some field pics of "Stumpy" . -
My old man has the same rifle, it's a very nice shooting gun. He loves his. The price is right too, someone should jump on this!

Cool stuff! The shotgun shots and the end were pretty sweet. -
I just want to say, it's Kobe beef. Not "Colby". You are wanting Kobe Coues. Otherwise this thread is useless.

White Mountain Apache Tribe Elk Hunt

If I had that tag, I'd be on the West end. No doubt. Lots of glassable country, and the chance to see a true toad. Especially in Nov. Even if you can't shoot him, still fun to see. -
As AZOne said, SLOW DOWN. That's easily the biggest mistake most people make when glassing, especially for Coues.

+1, Absolutely.

Not fair Christian

Ha! you're a better man than me Scott!

I say again, gifted . -
Of the two, the 22-250 is the way to go IMO. But a no go on mule deer, again just my opinion .
-
Scott, aren't you in the market for one of these? price is right.
-
Solid bull man, congrats.

Those sheep are there pretty much daily . You can dang near walk up to them. -
Nice!! Tell Ernie congrats on a great bull. 19 days, he earned it!

+1 on all counts. During dry years the rut is weak. Lots of bulls still have big patches of velvet right now. Not near as many broken bulls this year either compared to other years at this time.
