Yesterday morning I got set up 90 yards from a roost tree well before sunrise. The gobblers were on fire but had a ton of hens so they didn’t fly down to my decoys or in my direction. 20-30 minutes after fly down with nothing wanting to come in, I circled around to try and get in front of them. The flock had switched directions and was now going back towards where I was first set up. I hightailed it to get in front of them again and gave a few soft clucks. Before too long, the big multi bearded tom I’d seen the night before and last weekend was in full strut with his hens coming in. I waited until he was out of strut and shot him at about 10 yards. After some pics my friends and I were back to camp for carne asada tacos by 7:30. The bird weighed 22 pounds, both spurs are 7/8”, and the longest beard is 10 1/2”

I received the shirts earlier this week and unfortunately the colors were wrong. The company will be getting a new order after these shirts are returned. For everyone that wants a shirt, thank you for your patience. I added shirts to this order for those that messaged me after the first order was placed. I also have 3” stickers available for $3. Shipping will be $7 for the shirts

Order has been placed. Expected to arrive 6/27. I did make a last minute change from the Gildan soft style to Next Level cotton/poly after some concerns were brought up about shrinking

Waterfowl regs- duck limits
backcountry_brad posted a topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Maybe this is a dumb question but I haven’t ever done any serious duck hunting but want to this fall. Going through the regs book and looking at the limits I don’t see anything listed for teal, wood ducks, wigeons and more. Am I missing something? Can these species not be hunted? I just went through the last decade of posts on here and have seen species taken that aren’t listed under the bag limit. I called game and fish and the lady that answered didn’t have an answer so please educate me -
Let me know a size

Thank you. Yes, from what I kind find, this should be the biggest Gould’s killed in AZ according to NWTF and SCI scoring systems. The first three NWTF entries in the US have 3 beards -

Curious if anyone else here has a tag? I’ll be scouting this weekend and leaving next Thursday for the hunt. For previous tag holders, what was the hunting pressure like with the other tag holders? Obviously 35A is a big unit but I get the feeling most everyone will be within a couple miles of each other

No gobbles yesterday or today in 4b. Buddy of mine hasn’t heard any in 27 either
