I have a semi custom 7 Saum as well that shoots lights out. It's tempting to get another one. Will have to think about yours. If it isn't me, someone will get a really nice rifle.

Why are you selling that thing. That's the all in one kill everything in Arizona rifle. Who did the work?

Polaris RZR 800 and tilt trailer (couple questions)
grapevinedave posted a topic in Other Hunting Gear
I bought a RZR 800 and a 5X10 tilt trailer and have a couple questions. Putting the buggy on the trailer forward is exactly balanced on the wheels. Should I back the buggy in to give it a little tongue weight or is it ok to have minimal tongue weight when towing? Also, was looking into putting all terrain tires on the trailer. They are 205/75/15's and there are a couple companies that make an all terrain tire that size. Have any of you done this and is it worth it to change them out from standard trailer tires? Any advice would be appreciated. -
Polaris RZR 800 and tilt trailer (couple questions)

Kinda the direction I was leaning. They aren't terribly expensive and the rig isn't that heavy. The whole reason I was asking is because I've seen a bunch of blown trailer tires out where we hunt and think there has to be a better option. Saw some offroad tires on a small fold out camper at an outdoor show and thought I would ask if that's a good idea. -

Thanks for responding. It is a 5X10 tilt bed trailer and will get a new set of tires. They are 8 years old. Watched a couple youtube videos that showed weight distribution front and back. Will definitely have some tongue weight. -

Thanks for the response. Looks like it will be backed on the trailer to put the heavy end of the buggy towards the tongue. I think that will more than accomplish the needed forward weight. -
I am the original owner of this quad. Runs perfect and everything works. It's street legal. Couple things added were Yamaha Rhino wheels, LED light bar, full aluminum skid plates front to back and a bow/rifle rack on front rack. Also have an Allen cargo box that fits on the back rack. Miles 1847 and 167 hours. $3600.00

Weatherby Range Certified 6.5 Creedmoor

What is the power range on the scope? -
It shot well for me with reloads, so glad it shoots great for you. Not sure why they are not making 270 WSM brass. I've found plenty for my 300 WSM. I paid about half that for that bag when I bought it. This market for components is nuts.

WOW! Glad I sold my 270 WSM and the components that go with it.

Sled is gone and Bow is sold. Thank you! -
The lead sled is free to a good home. Don't use it anymore as done with monster cartridges that use lots of powder. Bowtech Allegiance is in really nice condition 60/70 lb @ 29". Has a Shrewd grip and Limb Driver rest, peep site, newer strings. All yours for a $100.00. Shoulder won't allow me to pull that much weight.

It's yours. We can schedule a time for you to come and get it. -
I necked down some winchester 300 WSM brass and it was a piece of cake. The Winchester brass I used worked just fine. Also used Winchester 270 WSM brass and it shot the same as the necked down 300 WSM brass. I annealed after each firing though. Don't have the rifle anymore, but it shot 145gr ELDX's really well with H4350. Got a 6.5 SAUM so sold the 270 WSM. Good luck, it's a cool cartridge and easy to do load development.
