No, not unethical in my opinion, you didn't know the camera was there. I think it becomes unethical to know someone else is already in small isolated area and you still hunt it. The orginal post was about someone hanging a trail cam and blind blocking his camera. Someone beat you there, go find another spot or come back later and see if it is available. I think a few wannabes piggyback off of us that know how to hunt. It is public land, we have to share and have respect for each other. I personally, couldn't look at myself in the mirror and be happy with what I see looking back if I hung a stand 10 ft away from someone else who beat me there. Just saying, I have my integrity and respect for others!

After google earthing it. You still have scout. Your getting out there. Not using a machine to find your trophy, drive close , shoot, retrieve and go home. Idk, seems a lazy way to me, plus missing out on the real experience.

When glassing or hanging a trail camera etc your out there getting the experience. A plane or drone is just being lazy! Hope the trophy books do not allow entry if the harvest was drone assisted!

Hunting is about so much more then just the kill of the trophy animal, even tho that is what most of us are after. Technology needs to be limited in some expects of life. Scouting is enjoyable, good excercise, time with family, friends etc. Time to observe nature. The rich guys don't get it. What skill is involved in saying found it with a drone while sitting in truck with heater going drinking coffee. Really. Ban them!

If nature intended them to survive they would have like deer, rabbits, lions etc. It is a good wolf now, hope all the rest join him! I saw one in unit 27 years ago. Looked thin and managy. People don't relize that an officer has to make a spilt second decision. They don't get days to consider their options. Easy for others to be arm chair critics after the fact. Officers have family and love ones too. They are human not robots. People seem to forget that! What chapped my hide was hearing someone being interviewed on the news saying " it was just a misdemeanor, the officer should have drove away!" Really, what are they thinking. No crime is ok. The officer in Ferguson did his job. Our society is crumbling!

Try silicone spray. I had an external aluminum frame pack and had to tape the pins in place where the straps attached. I don't know if tape is an option for you. Lets us know what works.

Just wondering if anyone has any field experience with the vortex 20x kiabab binos. I'm a big swarovski person, but looking for more power. Info such as clarity, field of view and light gathering, objective seems kinda small.?
