    WOW really?

this is the only hunting site I look at, love the content and people, love the owner and moderators (they all do a good job!!) but I would love a 50 pager here!!!! Best one we've had was 20 or almost 20 and it was good!!! I imagine 50 plages would be flipping EPIC!!!!! Bring it on boys! I think the last 50 pager if it even made 50 was the Corn Bagger !!!! Sorry Quail Man, that the Whambulance never arrived to bring you cheese with your Whine !

trphy the last comment is called sarcasm ... something you may not understand, but I understand if the sarcasm may be a little over your head... lots of people pick and choose what parts of the bible they like ... SO go back and look at your comment and really think about the sarcasm I left you with ...

    WOW really?

Love the personal attacks and assumptions .. DEMOCRAT .. LMAO ... I have been hunting and fishing AZ most my life ( minus a 10 year break from most hunting while married and starting a family) ..... been in the woods or on the lake since I could walk pretty much... I have pointed out on this site locations of several big bull and buck kills By just seeing the pic and after PMs from posters asking me to keep it on the down low , I deleted the responses ... I do not know every inch of the state but know the majority of many popular units. When I am on the lake I may BS about what and where I am catching , but if I know someone going who asks for advice I give honest advice and could care less if they end up there again and I run into them... The same goes for hunting , I have pointed and out people in areas many times over the years and on a few occasions given very very specific info at which time I ask them to keep it tight lipped, but if I draw that unit the same time as a guy I helped and find him hanging around, the last thing I will do is get upset with him or about... I am saying if you have specific expectations about keeping something tight lipped then communicate it .. do not assume anything , because when it comes to people I assume they are always going to take advantage of any knowledge they have to help the achieve a goal... To many tight asses and transplants on this sight and in this state that think they own a spot of public land and that they are the only ones to know about it.... unless it is private or land locked odds are others have been there doing the same thing you are doing at one time or another and who is to say that one of the guys he was with was not privy to the spot as well ... bash all you want it only reflects the low quality breeding you come from .. now go thump on your bibles!

    WOW really?

WOW ! YOU MAD BRO ? .... Born and raised in AZ I have never had an issue sharing hunting and fishing spots and only on a few occasions asked individuals to keep it on the down low.... I grew up seeing hunters helping hunters never having an issue with sharing info ... Never met guys that assumed there was an unwritten rule, but man times have changed!
  11. I have one question ... When it says " a minimum of 300 chances sold" does that mean you will be selling 300 tickets only ? Or if you sell 1500 before Dec. 23 the drawing will be on Dec 23 and if you only sell 250 by Dec 23 the drawing will postponed until you reach 300 ... Seems worded funny to me.

Questions about "locked" gate near private land

IMO every square inch of Landlocked Public Land should be closed to legal hunting until easements and access is granted .... Public lands leased for grazing or any other purpose should not become an extension of any one or small group of individuals private stomping grounds .. Just my 2 cents

    7 Mile Wash Thieves

I was thinking the same thing .. I have never had an issue all my life out camping , but even with that , I never leave anything of real value that can not be easily replaced and never a gun... I have also heard of increased thefts like this in this area and of the few people I know who have dealt with it they were led to believe that it is due to increased crime coming from the reservation.

    First "deer"" hunt in Arizona

All I will tell you is you do not need to go very far if you want muleys Spend some time hiking in your back yard and you should be able to figure it out .... If wanting Coues get on the other side of the mountains a bit east and a little North ... Good luck
  18. On the phone now with them ... I guess the draw technically is not finished and from what I was just told is that some seeing in the portal not drawn may technically be drawn.. I was not seeing anything but the lady said they had a temporary result but could not tell me if I was or wasn't drawn, and transferred me to the draw ... The next lady was not able to give me the info and She stated that all results and leftover list should be out by end of work day , today.

    AZ law

Never cut a fence ... but many years ago, used an upside down can of compressed air and a hammer to remove a lock that should not have been there ...

Found a new area looking for veteran advice.

North Facing slopes are a good start to glassing but there are a lot of factors in my experience especially during the Dec. and January Hunts .... If there is any cold northern winds above 5 mph I have found more bucks on the south east facing slopes .. first to get the sun while breaking the wind... If I were in your shoes I would find the closest 2 or 3 known sources of water and as one shot said strap the boots tight and work out from the water searching for signs of activity ... walk the low cuts and then get high to glass, If you are seeing good sign then glassing can help you find bedding areas, if there is good sign, you can bet they are bedding within 1/2 -3/4 of mile from the water.... I am all about glassing, but when getting to a new area ( and one like this with good draws and cuts ) I think in the long run leather on the ground will pay more dividends over time...

    Random Question...

you can get 5's for dirt cheap to free through carriers .. they have the 6 out now
  24. Str8Shot

    Random Question...

if it just the glass as is the case 90% of the time, then do it yourself .. you can find the kits all over online for under $25 and plenty of youtube videos to walk you through .... these glass, digitizers, and screens on smartphones, GPS units, and laptops are not that difficult to replace on your own if you are patient and careful... the kits have all you will need .. if you want to find someone local to do it for you, try Batteries Plus ... I believe they still do glass changes as well as batteries on iphones
  25. 208muley .. it is not just tag holders paying the fee , any over 18 ... For instance The last time I was in that unit years ago it was 4 hunters 2 kids and 6 other adults ... Camp was left cleaner and in better shape than arriving. A group like that now will pay $602.00 to spend that 4 - 8 days out there ... If you have a second tag, like deer you will be paying again ... It adds up pretty quick ... So if you have the tag and a couple buddies go along $180 , If you are a guide $300 and proof of your license ... the $$$ would add up fast when there are almost 1500 Bull, Antlered Deer, and Antelope tags in unit 10 .. if only half of the tag holders buy a permit that is $45,000 and before they invite a buddy or take the wife along with them ... I am betting that the number of permits and total $$$$ is much much higher than that
