Instead of using trail cams or worrying about a tree stand over the water hole ..... spend your weekend physically scouting it .... glassing incoming game trails and finding the most used trails for ingress and egress ..... depending on terrain look for saddles in hills around and coolies that are in the general area as well as the best looking bedding terrain for no more than 1/4 mile from the hole then find yourself a few different spots away from the hole that will give you better opportunity with less hassle of worrying about the guys camped right on the water ....

My use of a trail cam is not just to pattern game, or to "pick out" the one I will be after... I am an outdoorsman first and foremost, not just a hunter. I love wildlife and I love to see whats out there. I use the trail cam just as much to get photos of wildlife. You never know what kind of photos you will get, and that's what most of us love about it. You hear people talk about how setting cams is "addicting". If it wasnt enjoyable, it wouldn't get addicting. I am soooooo tired of people regulating my fun just because you don't share my same enjoyment. Just stop already. We know you disagree with the use. Don't use them then and leave me alone. You should run for congress, you would fit right in. Man people are so funny ..... First and foremost any guy on this site that uses one, bought and used their first trail cam to try to enhance his chances of a successful hunt PERIOD ...... If you say otherwise your straight up lying..... Are the pics cool.... yes ... is it addicting most likely, but a big part of your addiction comes from the fact you will try harvesting what you see .... If it was about the photos you would spend weeks in ground blinds with Much better photo gear taking pictures .... The answer to our Border Issues is FRIGGIN DEER WITH LASERS and sophisticated tracking for IA's ... Now on a serious note I have many Hispanic friends that have just as much passion against the issues with IA's as any other and none feel it is a big deal to have to prove your citizenship for any reason .... The ones that seem to have issues are the people who have utilized the process of getting relatives here over the past years (know a couple of them too) .... We as a people have suffered way more inconveniences in the last decades for upholding laws ..... and some guy asking for your DL or state ID or papers to prove you are not breaking the law and here as an illegal is no big deal .... They need to be tougher on everything including the organizations that enable the activity itself ... The Samaritans and others putting out food and water stashes should be stopped ..... I would not doubt that several of these groups are funded by the drug and coyote trades and just set up as non profit humanitarian outfits to distract who they are really helping ....

oh and if you think things out how many weeks of the year in AZ is there not a commissioned hunt going on in many units ... it is not species specific but even if it was then No cams for elk Majority of the year due to OTC tags and none in the field open of archery season .... Sounds like a winner to me ......

The only way it would be illegal would be if it is not a Tribal member being they are stating they are lion kills from the rez .... Sheds, and pick-ups are not permitted on the WMAT for non tribal members .... Not completely sure How the Tribe responds to members selling sheds or pick-ups but know for sure it is a no no for non members and these posts clearly state they are from the WMAT though they post them WMAIR

I took back up archery last year and will after a couple years be putting in for the archery elk over rifle but come on I am sick of the issues with the dates and archers .... you have two weeks to get it done and pre rut can be just as productive as prime rut .... fewer issues with cows busting you and still plenty of activity .... But after hearing year after year on these forums archers feeling they deserve it better than the rest I say give it to them but only give them 1 week to get it done and add a second 1 week hunt for more archery tags or rifle tags ... I think the data shows the date has little to do with overall success (may not have been as easy but the hunters got it done) .... temps are only 3 - 7 degrees average lower on the highs and not many consecutive nights below the high 30's even at the end of September.... Don't put in if you don't like it ....I am sure many people waiting years to even get drawn the first time would be happy to take your place no matter the date ... BUT MAN CAN ALL THE ARCHERS QUIT CRYING ABOUT IT .... Go hunt ... hunt hard and enjoy the experience Seems like what you all want is 1 week in the peak of the pre rut flowing into early rut to scout and nail down patterns then two weeks to pick and choose ..... and at the same time want better draw odds and no loss of tags to archers, guess while we are at it we can find you some ocean side property in Arizona !

Very cool .... I have seen big bass take hooked fish a couple times as they were being reeled in and a few months ago watched one try to choke one down in the Tank at BASS Pro but it was too big and was killing it ... the workers spent a good amount of time fishing them out from above always cool to see mother nature at work .... thanks for sharing
