Amazon.com is pretty awesome... My wife and I have an Amazon Prime account and man is it awesome when Christmas time comes around.. Need to order Christmas presents but dont want to deal with the over crowded malls and traffic ? Easy just order on Amazon click buy and within 24 hours its at my door step! Got just about every Christmas gift this year through Amazon and didnt have to deal with the hooligans at the mall...

What do you gain by moving from an entry level bow to a high end set up
Phil Beavers replied to apache12's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
Nowadays "doubt anyone" and "hunting" are tough to use in the same sentence. People are shooting a lot farther than 70 yards. Animals or targets? -

I shoot a Bowtech Asassin 500-600 dollar compound bow and I can group 60 yard shots.. I got the black gold Ascent so its set up to 20,30,40,50,60 yards ... I doubt anyone hunting would take more than a 70 yard shot anyway.. -
Best dang Chilean Sea Bass in the state..

Yeah dude I got the Bowtech Assasin a few years ago and they hooked it up for like 550.00 complete out the door.. inexpensive sight , whisker bisket , etc noting fancy because I was a beginner. They are all bow hunters them selves . -

I'm horrible at "guess-temating" so if I'm on a hunt I will just range large objects all around me like trees and piles of rocks. -
Still available ?? Looking for my 13 year old son..

Did this a couple months ago after I just bought my new Easton Axis arrows.. I lost one but it was a cool way to lose one.. Did this at 30 yards.

How did you get into hunting and the outdoors?
Phil Beavers replied to capoeirajosh's topic in The Campfire
Born and raised in Phoenix... My dad wasnt an outdoor type of guy just not his thing I guess. So I never went camping / hunting. As an adult I tagged a long with my best buddy and his brother on a hunting trip, never looked back.. I was hooked and now I have two boys of my own who I will take on hunting trips the older boy loves it and comes along with me when he doesnt have school or basketball going on. -
Love Ross... My go to bow supply store...

Been using the Badlands Day pack for about a year.. I like it. Fits everything I need to carry plus it was some straps on the back you can attach your bow to.
