    I was astonished when Mayfield went first. I'm glad Berkeley went to the Giants. He can do some very good things there.

    Barkley was a good pick. The Giants need to address an aging Eli Manning, whose best years are in the rear view mirror.

     

    The Browns are such a mess.. How do you get the number 1 and number 4 picks and not draft one of the two best players available in the draft????? They should have drafted Barkley or Chubb...

    Good pick for the Cardinals.

    Super happy with the pick.. They got probably the most NFL ready of the QB's and only gave a up a 3rd and 5th round , no future picks.. What a steal. Not a huge loss if he doesnt pan out.

    Some of the older classics like the Martin Razor X from 2005 remain the most forgiving bows produced, although the velocity is going to be realistically under the 300 fps mark. The Bow Tech Black Ice and Assassin circa 2012 are bows with a lot of innovation for the time and great reviews. Prime has the parallel cam and centered cable thing figured out and tout "torque free" draw and shooting. This feature has been on their flagship bows for about 5 years now. There are many quality choices in a used bow. Figure out what draw weight and length you need and then look at brace heights, roller guide vs. slide, weight and balance. Alpine, Elite and Quest are some of the more "quiet" companies in terms of publicity but their products have a lot of features of bows twice their price from the more heavily advertised companies.     I shoot the 2013 Assasin I bought in 2014 from Ross on sale for like 550.00 complete .... Great bow and they pack some speed... A little bit of a hump on the draw but makes up for it with speed... I love it part of me wants me a new bow and the other part of me doesnt want to let it to go...

    Hello all, my name is dave. I drew late elk unit #9. I have never hunted az elk, only Colorado.

    I plan to make several scouting trips. I plan to have a couple of plans in place for shifting weather patterns.

     

    My map recon shows 9 to be big and flat (so glassing will be a challenge)

     

    Any incite would be greatly appreciated. My guess is the bulls will be tight in the draws/canyons.

    hitting the water in the late eve, and at night.

    Around Tusyan its all pines and forest not much to glass. Late rifle is tough there if it snows so be prepared. Awesome unit though I hunted it last year for early archery bull.

    I was in Rocky Point reading all this stuff on twitter..

     

    Bradford- 20 mil is the average for starting QB's now. Dude is always injured but the most accurate of QB's left after Cousins signed with Minny it is what it is lol. Cant blame Minny they are very close to winning the Super Bowl. 100 mil to get a Super Bowl is worth it. The Cardinals still have to draft a QB of the future an hopefully Keim has the balls to trade up. Mike Glennon is a horrible signing. Hopefully he never gets to throw in a live game for the Cardinals. The Honey Badger cut was coming. Wilks just doesn't spend big money or draft picks on safeties, they have little value in his system. Badger can still ball though and should get a good offer somewhere but doubt its gonna be 9 million.

    Oh heck yeah! Last seasons were pretty good they were mainly about Henry Ford and the rail road monopoly. Anyways should be a good one, Rinella is a really good narrator on the Meat Eaters series.

    Most of us will get drawn for ofc archery deer again but I have 8 for elderly archery and put in with my brother in law who has 10. I have 22points for goat. Fingers crossed

    Yeah I have like 7 antelope ( I just buy the point because I know I'll never get drawn) but I hear of people having more than 10 elk points and I just think to myself " that has to really suck not getting drawn year after year "

    10 points these days for elk really isn't anything crazy. Most guys sticking it out for the best archery tags are 15+ and rifle guys 20+

    Dicks hasnt sold a aR 15s in like three or four years. I think They just want to hop on the bandwagon and lose even more customers

    Thats what I'm saying. Their gun selection is small. Their gun sales are probably a small portion of the companies profit so they figured they could get some good PR right now. I go to Dicks but never for guns or ammo or even anything archery related I just go for sporting equipment like basketballs or a football or to buy my kids sporting equipment.

    Just bounus points for me .. way to busy with my daughter and her soccer. I only have 4 more years with her so unfortunately hunting has to take the back burner.

    I’m in the same boat but for different reasons. I quit my day job at the end of last year to go full time with my small business and it has blown up into an avalanche of work. I wasn’t going to risk drawing a bull tag when I know I won’t be able to focus on it, so it’s otc hunts for another year

     

     

    I help run the family business and its definitely not easy requesting two weeks off, and when you do get the time off its constant checking in with the office and making sure things are still getting done in a timely fashion while you are away ( aka having an awesome time hunting ) . With that being said early archery unit 9 for me again. I got drawn last year and was successful so we will see in 2018. Hopefully one of the good buddies gets drawn so I can help out and return the favor.
