I have a cow tag there next month. I have been scouting in the areas that are on Game and fish site not having much luck either. I have seen some old sign but nothing too fresh. Still have 2+ weeks to keep looking so hopefully I can find em. Its fun looking no matter what. Good luck to you if I find any I will give you a holler. Ron

This wont help you now but the next time you need strings get some Winners Choice strings and cables and tubeless peep. No more tube problems and your peep stays put. Its a little more costly for the strings but IMO its worth it. Ron

I was at Tick Flat 2 years ago, used to go every year for the fishing. The last 2 times I have gone the fish have been full of worms. They are little white worms in the meat of the fish. Dont know if these can hurt you or not but kinda takes a little of the fun out of catching them. Other than that its a great place for camping, hiking, spotting bears and for me catch and release. Ron

1 tip that really helped my groups was when you are seating the sabot/bullet be sure to use the same amount of pressure each time. If you pack it hard, then do it every time. Consistency is the key. I myself seat the bullet lightly on the powder charge. IF you use sabots be sure to use good ones, I had used some of the cheaper ones when I 1st started, changing to the KNIGHT sabots changed my groups right away. Ron
