  1. Hi Justin havent spoke to you since August, my thoughts would be Unit 10 if you have plenty of time for scouting and the traveling time it will take you from Tucson. I would have said 19a last year but not so sure about this year. Tags are down because 19a got hammered by the archers and gun hunters. There were a lot of huge bucks taken last year, still have plenty there but possibly a little tougher to find that 85+. also a harder draw.

  2. Hi DBArcher, I see you live in Dewey. I just moved there a year ago from the valley, wish I would have 20 years ago. Go see Dave at Mile High Archery in Prescott Valley. He builds his own and does a great job. I have one on my Hoyt he made over a year ago and its the best string Ive ever owned.

  3. I would be very careful of Choppers place, I hunted there about 7 years ago and my experience was not good. Chopper had a couple of buddies there who had been there before and they got the prime areas. We all paid the same amounts but the people who had been there before were the ones he catered too. We had 8 people I think and only 1 took a hog, 2 other missed from feed stands. There were actually 2 guys that left because they were dis-satisfied with the way he was running his operation. I would never go back.
