There was nothing more priceless for me then watching my wife take her first big game animal with a bow. I have never been so proud of something till then. Now I know how my father feels while helping me as a young kid. Just watching her practice every day getting better and better was amazing she is so gifted. HOGG DOWN!

I will say one thing about them sheep they are very mystical creatures. It was a blast learned so much going to the banquets and hunting them

It was a crazy one for sure and he would of gone about 50-75 ft more. Don't knw how in the world he landed on the ledge. But it would have been easier if he fell to the bottom.

110 is the farthest I've ever shot at a animal lucky me I killed it . I post that because everyone asks anyways and wants to now unit exactly where it died. I wasn't bragging about range. I've killed way more deer a heck of a lot closer . That was my latest harvest so I showed it. I started hunting with a father that wouldn't even take a shot with a rifle over 200yrds so trust me I've learned how to get very close over my hunting years. Just the past few years I've been really getting into long range archery. But you better Believe I'll take a close shot over a far one any day of the week

And the icing on the cake was just the next year my dad's buddy drew that unit for desert big horn sheep. He took the ram that this deer would always be around. He actually shot the ram only 100yrds from where we got the buck. You want to talk about creatures of habit. I'll post pics of the ram soon we had to rappel down to get the ram

Not so long ago people thought the world was flat and if you walk far enough you would fall off it. How do people kill animals with long bow, recurves and old compounds years back. The new kid bows got more everything then them old ways. And don't say they shot only 20yrds because that's BS. There 40-50yrd shot don't have anything on a 100yrd shot from a new bow. Hey there putting magnifiers on sight and it just not for comp shooters. People hit bulls at 10 yards double lung and lose them. Or hit coues with a 300rum in the heart and he still runs off to never be found. While I am out hunting or practicing To sharpen my skills you can sit on your couch And downgrade me from your Computer all you want. Happy hunting in front of you keyboard. Oh by the way can I give you some advice don't believe everything you read on the Internet Try it first before you nock the next hunter on here because I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one you tried to downgrade on CW oh! Thanks everyone, my new goal is to introduce kids to hunting. I've took out a few kids on hunts some successful and some not but everyone had a great time. Can't wait for this years Junior hunting camp In 36a I'll be there.

So I found this deadhead about 1/4 mile away from a double main beam deadhead. Either there is a very hungry lion in the area or some hunters missed out on some monster bucks. Scored 109'

Now you're just showing your age (or lack thereof) and immaturity level. Fact is most anyone can shoot that far just most people are smart enough not to. Have fun with your future wounded animals. Thanks for your opinion, but who says it's wrong or right to shoot at 100yrds vs 10yrds. I've seen people miss and wounded deer within 10 to up to 100. It's goes the same with a rifle big cal small cal, 100yrd miss and 1000yrd kills. 55gr bullets 240gr bullets over kill under kill. This can go on and on and I can respect where you come from but people don't have to be so negative. Technology has come a Long ways where your going to see this more often than not. Thanks!

She sure did got it with here bow during the rifle hunt. She never shot a bow till I got her one for Christmas so she only had two months of practice . I'm so proud of that woman I'm going to post a pic of it on the javelina posts
