Took my brother, nephew and sister in-law out for a day in the desert. On the hike down I decided to glass a hill that looked promising and to my surprise I found these guys chillin. If you look closely the deer second to last moving left to right is a buck, probably got about 4-5" of antler right now. Enjoy.

Again nice pics Rob, was the bull alone? He's a nice one, can't wait to see how he ends up. How far away were you when you took the pics? Call me next time you head up this way. Or are you here already?

Nice find Rob! Next time take the pic without the road in it!

Went out again this morning but forgot to put the memory card back in the camera. Was able to glass up 4 bucks, and a herd of 8 pigs. Man I need some Zeiss, was hard to make out the pigs so far out until they started moving.

Pardon my ignorance on this subject but I'm just curious and clueless on this topic. What's the difference in ballistics between regular mags and short mags. Is there much of a difference? I'm a bow guy so this is new to me, I've been looking into buying a rifle for the longest time and as soon as I think I find one I learn something else. So any info is appreciated. Nate

I'm still looking, several guns catch my eye but we'll see how it ends up

I've seen the blades chip really easy when shot into a target. Not impressed with them. Another vote for Slick Trick, especially with their new heads coming out.

Flag is getting a Sportsmans Warehouse in the Fall of 2009. All I have to do now is wait

Cool pics! Wasn't Chonan the one who threw the crazy flying scissors to an ankle lock on Anderson Silva a few years ago?

Ended up putting some Winners Choice on my bow, i'm impressed so far

What strings are you shooting? I've heard good things about Winners Choice and Vapor Trails, I sure do wish Shooters Edge was still making strings, he did an excellent job at a good price.

I'm shooting a Bowtech Tribute that I just bought off a guy, and I'm replacing the string. I decided to go with Winner's Choice as I always hear good things about them.

RR- Thanks for the info, wish I could have made it

How did the shoot go? I was itching to go but couldn't make it, are there going to be any other shoots this summer besides the bowhunter happening and clints well?
-
Thanks for the info. I've been looking at several .300 win mags and it looks like that's the way to go.

Help me pick out tires.....
ndaniel replied to AzPacknHorns's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Has anyone had any experience with or know somebody that has run the Bridgestone Dueller 693 A/T tires at all? -
I've picked up 4 so far and only one was from this year. A buddy of mine spent the weekend out in 9 and came back with a 360 set, and about 4 others, all brown.

Nice find, can't really tell but is he chewed a little bit under his left G1? Doesn't really matter cause he's a monster anyways.
