I know a guy goes out 3 times a week would probably gladly take you along. But the only shooting you will be able to do is with your camera.

I got a october hunt in 6a, I have only seen a couple of bucks, find the one place you would not want to hunt and hunt their. They are their the farther south you go the better in my opinion

10 years old and got it done!!!!! He missed this deer the first shot, but didnt give up. The deer doubled back and gave him a second shot, dropped him in his tracks. I was a nervous wreck, I was afraid that he would shoot a doe, one buck in with 10 does. Every time he thought he had a clear shot anouther doe whould get in the way. He took him time and waited for the right time. He and I were over welmed with emotions, smiles,laughter, some tears, Just one awesome time.

WELL I think I got it figured out. This baby just dont like the eld or the sst hornaday bullets. For shits and giggles I bought some barnes vor-tx 160 grain TSX_BT And now i am gettin 1.5 inch groups at 200 yards with no crazy flyers. Thank you everone for your help and suggestions.

I have been scouting 6A for them grey ghost. I shot one two years ago just north of apache maid look out. This year I have had cams up most of the year with no deer on them. I have ran into one doe on the look out rd to apache maid. If any one would like to help point me in a better direction. I would like to stay in the same area because i have a elk hunt comeing up.

It took a long time for my boy to come around, I pushed and pushed and I never understood why he didnt want to be out doors. The one day it all changed. I am asked him "why the change of heart". I want to be better than everyone else, all the other kids have toys and play stations, but i have a opportunity to do something most kids cant do. I get to hunt, go ride quads,shooting and best of all i get to spend time with my dad. I dam near broke down. Video games will be around for ever, but not every sunrise is the same. he will come around.

I was in contact with the OP. He did not make it to the range, but he picked a great day to skip it. Wind was terrible, and it was cold. Last weekend, it was in the 80s, today was 59 out there with the 11-19 mph cross wind per my Kestrel. Should have grabbed a sweatshirt.
I am picking my 300 win mag up today from the gunsmith. I will be out at ben avery saturday with the 7mm problem child.
