I'm not a Tikka expert, but my understanding is that all of the T3s have the same action (long/"standard"), but the short-action cartridges have a different bolt stop (and magazine I'd assume) that can be changed or modified to accommodate long action cartridges. Is there a specific measurement or photo that would help? Or if you'd like I can bring it to you and you can check it out yourself. If you're in Gilbert you can't be too far from me (I'm at Ray and 101). Jim
